There is not sure profit in trading but having an insider info depends on how reliable that information it, if that is reliable then for sure we will not need to read the market in order to make a prediction, life will be easy in that case. However, let's face the reality, inside information is hard to get, only those who are big volume holders has the chance to get the info but us typical traders, we just have to read the line or the price movement to make a prediction.

in my opinion trading is not just guessing and predicted the price but we need to learn and practice in trading, we need to make our analysis to set buy order and sell order, without doing this, we can not make profit in trading. so make sure that we learn something, doing practice more and more, we need to learn the trend of the coins. there are many thing that we need to learn but we can learn step by step in trading.

actual knowledge only analyze price is going to happen after you buy. certainly analyze it with a lot of resources. ranging from the volume, the price of the last 24 hours, etc

A chart has patterns, a similar behaviour under similar circumstances.
If you know those patterns, it's often possible to predict the developement of a chart.
Sure, it's never 100% certain, but it's a big advantage compared to traders who do not know those patterns.

Yes, I am very much sure and I am already making use of my technical analysis to make profits from my bitcoin trading and I am not depending upon any inside information for my profits.

Do not under estimate the guessing works of trading. It is not feasible for all the people. Those who are good in that guessing works makes profits and rest call it gambling.

Educated guessing, I will agree with you because for someone to make an educated decision then you must have gotten education and the process is not one that is cheap and in the case of gambling, it means thorough understanding and learning of how stocks work, how to know the right time to buy and sell, even insider info is another source of education because being in the right place at the right time is also another form of educated decision.

With altcoin trading, I agree with the you that I will not be able to make any profits there without any help from inside people. Because only devs and their team are well known about when one particular altcoin is going to be pumped or dumped. I have noticed rapid changes in price levels along with their recommendations.

For bitcoin trading, I have not come across with the any insider information so I'm not sure whether this type of manipulation is existing or not. When considering the 18+ billion dollars market cap of bitcoin markets, I believe there will be no possibility of manipulation by some people.

You dont need any insider info specially when you do believe on your skills and knowledge on trading and even if you dont have those infos you still confident that you could able to trade independently without relying anyone. Trading does really require time for you to able to make profits on it.

Trading is basically just buying low and selling high just like what ordinary sellers in real life doing until now, although thing works like that there's still some different circumstance that's actually even more complicated than the real trading in the real world.
The price changes are often happening between a short term of time which make it even more profitable but also you may bear the high risk of losing your money.

Well if you are lucky in trading you dont need those information. We only need to invest in diverse coins and sell it higher than we bought it. I have lots of friends who are into trading and they said that the secret to trading is to select a good coins to trade and dont choose shitcoins. Its better to play on the coins like ethereum, dash, monero, etc. who have established its value since you will profit from it and if in any case you want to quit there are buy orders in line to sell your coins.

I kinda agree with OP's title that trading is just educated guessing. It is not guessing the price because of just a pure guess but a guess based on analysis and facts. There will be no guaranteed profit even if it is an educated guess OP. A trader is not sure if he/she will earn with his investment since even if it is based on analysis and facts it is just a guess. Even if you have an insider info, there is a chance that you will not earn but at least the chance of you earning from your investment increases when you have an insider info.

What people don't know is that Technical Analysis is the study of the Human Emotions, it has psychology in it which it translates charts to what the traders are trying to say. Yes, more or less, trading is an educated guessing. Even though you have an insider informant, who can predict it precisely in the market? At least you have to learn the idea of the coin and whose behind the project (the devs team). Is it something good and people will trigger to invest on the coin? Are they (devs team) trusted?
And then, guess how it will be in the future. But, trading require good analysis and perfect time to buy and sell. However, trading is a game to get profits while others get loss.

TA doesn't work very well in the bitcoin markets, precisely because the market is small, illiquid and therefore prone to manipulation. TA only works in very big deep markets (like the EUR/USD market where billions change hands every hour).

Trading is not for only luck users, you need to study about the commodity or subject, on which you want to trade and thoroughly analyse it, or else you will just end up in losing. yes trading is depending on buying and selling, but i think education and knowledge is too much helpful in education. i think education may you more mature and let you know what to trade and what not to trad and where to invest from from where to stay away from investment.
