Trading, involves the more frequent buying and selling of stock, commodities, currency pairs or other instruments, with the goal of generating returns that outperform buy-and-hold investing. Trading profits are generated through buying at a lower price and selling at a higher price within a relatively short period of time. The reverse is also true: trading profits are made by selling at a higher price and buying to cover at a lower price. In essence it is educated guessing but really complex.

Nope. I don't think that trading is just educated guessing because if you are a true trader, you will not just guess what will be the price or the move of a particular cryptocurrency coin because you will do a lot of research and a lot of analyzation because that is how you things can be done especially the decisions that you will make in your trading journey great.

As far as I know an educated guess is not a guess done just because, an educated guess uses knowledge and experience in the field in order to try to better predict the outcome, so in my opinion trading successfully is in fact an educated guess.

Yes, only an experienced person can have knowledge in guessing and it is not possible to person who is very new and fresh to trading. Exactly, the prediction will become true only when he as proper and exact guessing on the market.

Yeah I agree for a beginner, this is not even possible because the crypto trading is not that simple you have to look at to many things while you trade. It is not only the price of the currency which should be reason of choice to trade because the crypto market can easily be manipulated.

Trading needs a lot of researches and analysis like financial analysis,market analysis.Unless you know the previous and current market situation of a coin,it will not be able to find the coin which is most under valued.Trader should be able to read various charts provided in the exchange.He should be able to grasp the changes in market and take immediate decisions either to enter or exit the market to finish the trade successfully.

For trading,you should have thorough knowledge of crypto market.You should do financial analysis,read ANN threads of altcoins,see market cap,find who are big investors,find the most under valued coin and then invest.Also you should read various charts of one week,one day,one hour to find out the price movements.Then only,you would be able to do a successful trade.

Somehow i think we can still say that bitcoin trading or altcoin trading or any kind of trading is just an educated guess,since you are juse based on some news and facts and yet you dont know if  you will succeed on trading that particular coin

Educated guesses may help but only to a small extent. For example if you know that suddenly XXX Company (A major company) adopts Bitcoin, then BTC price may go up. However there are a lot of things you have to consider, pump and dump groups, random events (RansomWare attack, Economy Crisis), no one really knows unless you can predict the future.

Do not rely solely on these guesses, you may not be right all the time.

Crypto currency are build based on cryptography and their market depend on supply & demand so that's why the value always volatile over time. Trading is not an educated guessing a trader must learn how to trade, better still a trader can be mentored to know all the rudiments of trading i.e fundamental and technical analysis and how to trade with Japanese candlestick having been equipped with the knowledge highlighted above a trader can accurately predict the direction of price i.e time to buy and sell. I think it's doesn't exist, because there is now rules and regulations. For now most of alts are growing, but nobody knows when it will start growing. Mostly the reason of pump is releases or other news about project. You need to analyze them, imho

No, that's not the right perception you think on getting profit, of course you need to exert effort and time if you really want to earn
something. Only few info insider are giving a chance to tell some news about pump and dump information. but,not all info was accurate there are sometimes giving wrong info.

You need to know how to use market analysis tools to help develop your own trading system, with that you can take "educated guesses".You can never be sure with trading, but with a sound system and STRICT money management, you could maybe make some profit. And off course you need plenty of luck, I'd rather be lucky than good.

That is correct. trading is a real job and you need to make a prediction base on your analysis. If you are a good trader and you can analyze everything well, you can easily earn profit from this activity without guessing or relying on luck

Not at all. Trading with bitcoin requires you to follow the price flow, current events that might change the price and also a little luck.

Sometimes guesing yes but you need analysis to gues. I Agree that you should follow current flow. Event and issues. The price of crypto change every minute. For a new trader, Most of my guess is wrong but now after a little time analysing curent flow I can minimize the mistake. When I should buy and when I should sell. Sometimes I let for one day not do transaction untill I got the fixed price to sell or to buy. Guessing yes but not blind guessing.

Because if you say that to trading as a whole then you are wrong because in stocks Trading do actually work and its not all about speculation, not like Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency in which you don't have some news to base your trades on all you have to see is their Charts that are not accurate to look at because the demand for cryptocurrency is ever changing that is how I see it thus far.

Everything. I started off with options trading many years ago.

I bought a book about it, it bored the shit out of me after the first page, I picked an option that sounded familiar and bought it without any more research, when I checked up on it a few months later (this was pre internet) it had quadrupled.

Same goes for everything else. I've never researched anything. I've only profited apart from about 0.2 BTC in losses, but I definitely never attempted to day trade.

Having the right skill set, reading charts/orderbooks, following the right news, understanding sentiment and many other things if done correctly can give you an edge but that is all it is. No guarantees without insider info.

I think no. Because trading needs a strategy for you to be able to gain profit. You must also know important details about the objects or something you want to trade. You must be a wise man in trading industry because if you won't be wise the capability of gaining money will be impossible. You must have the guts to investigate and know every information not just by simply guessing. Trading is like a game that you need a liitle bit of luck to earn.
