Yes. Wallet 0.9.1 is stable and developers have fixed some bugs present in previous versions.

You don't have to do anything. Just preserve your wallet.dat file, delete the older version and run the new one. "Remember to make always a copy of your wallet.dat. It's where all your coins dwell".

How to safe your coins

You do it in two ways.
First is to print a paper wallet and second is to safe the wallet.dat file

Follow this steps to use the paper wallet:
1) Go to a) http://ptc.sytes.net/ptcloteria/ptcaddress/
             b) https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=Pesetacoin
             c) http://www.pesetacoin.info/paperwallet/?culture=es
2) Click in Cartera de papel / Paper wallet
3) Click Print

You can also use the wallet
1) Run you wallet (download it if you still haven't done it)
2) Click in Archivo → Print paper wallet → So Print

Safety measures printing your paper wallet
A) You computer can be infected with malware or spyware or whatever,
consider using a dedicated computer exclusively for printing paper wallets.
Raspberry, partitions or “live CD” will work too. 
B) Use a dumb printer.
Smart printers have a memory and save all the docs they have printed.
C) Withdraw all the money at once. Then don't use that wallet anymore
Remember, you can add funds as many times as you want, but withdraw all at once

1) Choose a new usb
2) Get into your Pesetacoin folder and look for your wallet.dat file

My advice  is to download and install the last version of the wallet. Get rid of everything except wallet.dat.
Last version of the wallet is in OP of this thread.

I have installed a new 0.9.1.0-g (32-bit)  PesetaCoin wallet fro http://pesetacoin.info/index_en.html
But i do not get any active connection to the network.
i have tried for some days to let it work ++ tested it on win7 win 8.1 and win10 .
"no block source available"
my old wallet.dat is save .

last time it worked to me 5 weeks ago with 0.8.8 on win8.1
can someone help . any idea ?

Conf file as any other file, including block chain in Ms is in %appdata%
Just type this into the address box of your explorer.
If you don't have there any pesetacoin.conf file, create one and poblate it with the info I posted 2 or 3 messages herein before.

You need to create a text document. Put the text there and name it pesetacoin.conf 

no pesetacoin.conf.txt
you need to delete the .txt

adding node to pesetacoin.conf file fail to me and did not work. it crashed up .

any way i found out that i was block by my organization=work  firewall . they have install new firewall that blocked up the blockchain connection . when i put the wallet @ home it work very well.
with cellular dongle it worked from my organization again.

More than the language relation, the Peseta was the spanish currency before the euro.
There is no such relation in latin countries with the Peseta and that's why our efforts are focused in Spain but as you say other countries can benefit with the info/guides we create.

As just a piece of advice, don't focus on the next five minutes.
Look at the last 3-4 months, and you will see a steady increase in the price.
So my personal and humble guess is that with the proper support (which the coin has from a good bunch of Spaniards, and an excellent lead developer team), the foreseen forecast is to continue this slow but reliable trend.

I'm not aware with the details if the new electrum wallet, but normally you never have to be concerned about your deposits in exchanges, as they update the software.
Dev team always send them a warning on updates, and especially when they imply major changes as hardforks, which I suppose this is not the case.

We have the pleasure to announce the first incorporation to the team!



Welcome to the team Oscar!!

We have the pleasure to announce the first incorporation to the team since the project was taken over a year ago. We have had a few incredible collaborators without the ones Xaxuke and I wouldn’t be able to bring Peseta to where is now but for one reason or another they weren’t officialy part of the team.

Today we can say we have found a very committed collaborator who shares our long term vision and working philosophy. That’s why he’s now the Chief Network Officer.

The one we’re talking about is Oscar and you can found him in social media as:

His responsabilities as Chief Network Officer are the next one (not meaning he will only help us this duties):

A) Help grow the number of nodes in order to have the network running smoothly. He will be working side by side with the marketing department to achieve the objective set up for 2018 of 300 nodes.
B) Help new minners set up their mining rig in give-me-coins pools
C) Help exchanges or merchants with network issues
D) Collaborate to create Electrum-Peseta or Copay-Peseta with the network related code.

i checked the conditions at Ledger as promised.
I found following:


There are a lot of cryptocurrenies and as Ledger has limited ressources it cannot integrate them all. The conditions to integrate another crypto are one of the following:

    massive general support and high market cap (ex: Ethereum)
    development sponsored by the coin's community (ex: Litecoin)
    direct developer integration using Ledger's SDK

For information, the "altcoin package" costs 99,000 EUR and includes:

    development of altcoin's Nano S / Blue app
    altcoin support added to the Ledger Wallet Chrome app
    altcoin explorer API development for the backend
    1,000 Ledger Nano S unit with altcoin's logo laser marking
    maintenance and support

This pricing is available only for project inheriting from Bitcoin. If the blockchain technology is original (ex: Ripple, IOTA...) then the pricing could be much higher.

If you are part of the project's team and have a deep technical understanding of the coin, we also invite you to fill-in our integration form.

Please also refer to our list of already supported coins and tokens if you are unsure if your favorite coin is supported or not.

Integration only (without custom Nano S units) for Bitcoin clones is available at the separate price of 50,000 EUR.

But a big company (let's say samsung, intel, whatever which can build million boxes per year) builds and distributes the device.
You negotiate to keep % of the revenue and the posibility to change the manufacturer if something goes wrong(I'm not an expert in licensing, but one could help you get a good deal)
This way you won't have to deal with the logistics neither manufacturing and you keep working on what you do best, coding.

Pesetacoiners! Here we are with a new update!
We have to apologize for the lack of updates during the last months but we assure you we keep moving forward.


First we want to point out that we're preparing a full redesign of Pesetacoin. We want to give it a new fresh image
without losing Peseta's soul. We are updating the logo, the website, the Core wallet, the webwallet and Electrum.
The other areas we are working on is getting into the hardwallets.


Gettting into details we have disclose that the redesign is fully done but we have not published anything for
couple of reasons. The most important one is because even if we consider we have done a great job, we think it
can be improved. Since we focus on the long term and we take care of every detail we think it will be worthit to keep working on it.


The second reason we have not yet published anything is because we want to update Electrum-Peseta to the last
version available to profit from the improvements made both for users and merchants. Must be said that having
an updated Electrum is a must to succed in the second objective we've talk about previously, getting included in the hardwallets.


About exchanges we have good and bad news. Cryptopia is back and even if we don't know how the reputation is
gonna be affected after the incident, is always good news to have it back. On the other side, TradeSatoshi has decided
to delist Peseta for lack of volume. We do expect they will relist Peseta after the redesign and being included in a couple of hardwallets.


As a curious fact, 5 days ago, the 20th March, the mining reward has been reduced from 10PTC to 5PTC per block.

I decided to stop my node that ran for 5+ yrs and wanted to make someone from here a nice gift. You are right that could be some nice change at some point in the future, but running a node for ev. 1 or 2 more years costs money too and since I can't mine it anymore I made said decision.
I have no critics at all regarding the project, I think it is great and wish you all luck. I am just still running way too many nodes and PTC was among the nodes I decided to shut down upon the swap. Creating an account for currently worth a few usd seemed too much and I'd rather give it to some owner who gives the coins a new good home :-)
