Hello guys. Setting up MN. Got the wallet compiled on Linux, but its only showing 1 connection to network and is not downloading any blocks. Any idea? Do we have node list to add?

Copy and paste what anorganix posted into your renos.conf file

On Mac you can find it at ~/Library/Application Support/RenosCoin

If you don't see a file in there called renos.conf then you need to create it.

So just open your favorite text editor paste in the stuff from above ^^ and save it

as renos.conf in ~/Library/Application Support/RenosCoin

Also, regarding masternode hosting. The hosts need the private keys of your node (not wallet). Does that mean they can't touch any funds stored for the node? If yes, how so?

Private Key for a masternode is a bit of a misnomer. There is no way it can be used to remove funds from your wallet. Think of it as a checksum, you have your public key (masternode receiving address that you send funds to) and it's compliment to that is a private key... it is simply a way for the network to ensure that the two clients match up and there is no forgery.

1 MN gives you about 10-14 rns, depends on total amount of MNs active on the network (127 right now)

Everything went so smooth with nodeshare.in that I reckon we'll see a lot of new masternodes in RNS. Can't believe the price is still this cheap. Will try to get more MNs while it lasts. Once the network grows and there are a lot of transactions (say a nice volume exchange like Bittrex) then our stakes should also increase from the (even though extremely small) network fees.

I tried to log in several times but it seems to take forever.
filled in account and password, clicked log in, website is loading and loading and ...
any idea?

Why Renos can make a huge trading vol on the crptopia? What innovations do you have except masternode?

The project isn't interesting only for technical issues. I see RNS team trying to realise real community coin (without crowdsale and etc). All other (technical part) I'm sure will be later.
Economic part: ICO with RNS, social services, credit bots, escrow services, online stores and etc.
But community it's the core of every project. Some projects make ICO, fundraise tons of money for idea without any guarantees. Other projects as Renos start from scratch. And I like second type more. Month ago many people said that RNS is dead. But it's alive contrary to anything.
After coin swap RNS will be listed on more tradable exchanges.

I would to suggest you to join Renos  slack channel and report this issue to the Renos devs. and I sure they will addresses this issues as soon as possible.
