hmm i can get on on this, nothing too fancy, NO ICO (yay), something to mine!

i will have my wallet ready, looks clean by my ESET.   almost too clean, what am i missing... lol
STATIC 25 PoS reward? thats different, lots of inflation, but supply is under 5 mil for PoW so i think it will be ok
out of the last 50 coins launched this is finally something to mine!!!!

Are you talking about the algo name or what is under the hood?

Blake2s is its own algo, it is the 256bit variant, optimized for 32bit devices.

BLAKE-256 and BLAKE-512 are different, they are "BLAKE v1" and this is BLAKE v2(s).

•On Sandy Bridge, BLAKE2b is 71.99% faster than BLAKE-512, and BLAKE2s is 40.26%
faster than BLAKE-256,
• On Bulldozer, BLAKE2b is 30.25% faster than BLAKE-512, and BLAKE2s is 43.78%
faster than BLAKE-256.

Is this algo one of those with asic support or is it meant to be mined with gpu?

Trying to find out if its worth mining with NVidia 750 and 980

No asics for blake2s in existance. AMD miner is closed source (i dont own i copy and there is no public release). Coin is cpu and nvidia gpu minable.

@ocminer, just keep in mind neva is forking at block 291111 (currently 287541).

Can you please update your pool to neva 1.4 or kill it before block 291111 to avoid making unnecessary forks in the network.
