Staking is still months away, starting after block 12900. In fact the dev suggested we lock wallets to avoid generating invalid pos blocks in the mean time

Proof of stake rewards kick in at block 12900 with 25 NETKO if you mine a stake blokck. After block 900000 PoS reward drops to  0.25 NETKO.

Ammount of NETKOs in your wallet is not the sole factor for PoS block generation. Connection quality to the network is very important as well.

You did read the OP before asking this? A market was made available on day one at network start. Sorry if you are not comfortable with Cryptopia 4 days after launch. At the moment we will focus on getting started on actuall use cases for the blockchain other than just being another altcoin in the wild with a sole monetary purpouse and for the record developers job never was and never will be exchange listing.

Excahanges that will see the potencial will list the coin at their will. We cant stop anyone from getting involved with NETKO as it is an open source project.

Developers job is to keep the seed network up, to fix any bugs in the code that may surface along the way and to never stop developing a service layer on top of the chain.

Submitting the coin listing request to exchanges can be done by anyone here ven you. We have no expectations of being listed on super hot / high volumen exchanges and have no intentions to pay premium listing fees. Listing on Cryptopia was a  curtesy of the ceo Grega and the sole reason i made this advice was the fact that Cryptopia is already more than just a growing exchange but has very cool features like marketplace, tipping slot, mineshaft, forums and more.

You can expect soon some listings on Cryptopia marketplace where you can buy some IT gear with NETKO. Meanwhile if you desire some new exchanges liek Poloniex go ahead https://poloniex.com/coinRequest.

Dont get me wrong we care about the community and we are all still shocked how NETKO was welcomed by the community and we will never forget that but we need to focus on the actuall use case that is written in the OP.

i like what i hear here! ya no, cryptopia is fine, great home for Netko while it grows and develops. I am snagging small amounts here and there i think mostly from those not realizing the long term mining of this coin and dumping after finally getting them and walking away.
thats cool, easier to get over long term, my budget is staying strictly to what i can mine directly and what i can convert to Netko

No need to get too emotional  . Zpool has al the right to add NETKO if he chooses to. I mine on Zpool sometimes as well and everyone must understand that Zpool is a profit switching pool meaninig that if you point blake2s miner to the pool is not necesarry you are mining NETKO but you will get paid in NETKOs.

@botmanside if you got robbed or scammed by Zpool please make a more clearer post about this with some details and some evidence of wrong doing (maybe open a seperated thread and link it here).

Some Honeycoin was launched NevaCoin fork (with clearly someone not paying attenction to the details in the code) If it was backed by some beekepers and maybe sell actuall honey for honeycoin it would workout to be a huge success but at the moment i wouldnt bet on it.

yiimp, is so much better and honest, they are only payng in currency you mining,
so no steal in there, and honest dev too
