Got my first 25 coins as reward and was instantly excluded from mining, coz i dont have any mature coins. WTF?)

maybe you should learn how PoS works before feeling so "wtf"    Cheesy   Cheesy

what you describe is completely normal and happens to EVERYONE as its HOW PoS WORKS Cheesy

lmao

Thats why i am asking those questions, right?)

true!  just sounds funny when someone has a car then comes and says "WTF, did you know this thing has an ENGINE?!?"   Cheesy Cheesy
cause thats basically what you did ;p

Honestly, its funny but cool at the same time, this coin seems to be alot of peoples first experience with PoS coins that have custom params haha so lots new users in this thread asking noob questions Cheesy
its like 2013 all over again Cheesy
This time i got only half of my coins excluded from mining after another 25 -_- It's not so easy to understand, when you get different result from the same action)) Anyway thanks for your time, i appreciate your efforts)

@kiss

it's all relative to when each WHOLE (1) coin (or piles of coins as it's technically by TX) matured in your wallet.

Each individual coin needs 301 confirms to become eligible to stake, and AFTER a stake, that resets, but ONLY on the coins that staked.
The REST of your coins CONTINUE to stake (and you will notice you have a lower "weight")
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake  -- that prob explains better than i can ;p ;p

Cheesy

Note* each coin is different parameters usually for PoS, so that links just a breakdown on how PoS works GENERALLY Smiley

I prefer splitting tokens into multiple addresses.Weight lowers but chances to find a block slightly increases.I dont like all coins locked up for 301 confirms. So far i got one stake/day with only 978 tokens.
I guess its about finding a good balance compared to the network weight. To soon to put a number on it but 2500 seems like a overkill to me.
Yesterday i had a address with 149 tokens that staked within a few hours after maturing but the network is gaining weight.
Now awaiting the next stake
Good luck all

Well you did it.There's nothing to do for staking.Just put the tokens in the wallet and leave it open. After they are mature they wil stake.

Thanks for the answer.
Ok but the more mature the coins... the bigger the chances that they stake right?

thats a "PoS 2.0" feature, if you mean "coin age"  as "more mature" .
Netko IIRC is just normal "PoS 1.0" a simple static reward (25 NETKO), and chance to stake solely dependant on your StakeWeight VS the Networks

well the real test would be to see what  "getstakinginfo" returns in your console NOT "getinfo"
also if we could see the bottom right of your wallet to make sure the staking icon is lit that be G
course not necessary if you just post your "getstakinginfo" return Smiley

Keep in mind with 300ish coins , it WILL be estimated like 5-6 days for reward tho

according to that screenshot your wallet is currently LOCKED and NOT staking

your wallet MUST be unlocked to stake.

relaunching is not a problem, once you UNLOCK it after restart, it should start staking automatically in 30 seconds to a minute Smiley
PoS mining needs COINS mainly, resources are usually thin, tho after 3-6 coins you wont be able to run a bunchacoins at once sometimes on nothing but the best Pi's and above Smiley

good net basically yupp, tho BANDWIDTH not even really needed, RELIBILITY of net tho is good in that respect, you want near constant uptime for your staking usually

yupp, as per the OP:

"PoS subsidy phase: ~ 8 years, 887100 blocks x 25 NETKO = ~22,177,500 NETKO"
(so 25 coins per stake, every stake)
