Personally though, I sold them all and invested in ZEN. Because ZEN has an active dev team that has a plan and cares. Because this team managed to overcome a very unfortunate event in little time and move forward stronger than before. Because it is clear that tomorrow, they will still be here and will keep going strong.

Price at the market is not the whole story.
Correct, majority thinks that success must be overnight, but this is wrong, every project has its good and bad days. My experience tells me that best time is to invest now, because it is early start and price won't fall down much (bad days-> time of doubt, fud dominion). I have made few good calls this year, you can check it in my previous posts.

Its obvious this project is really undervalued,  It has a great Core Team leadership in Rob Viglione & Rolf Versluis. A long term partnership with IOHK seems it going to be established which have some of the world best blockchain devs, it has a huge community support. The Financing model which in my opinion is one of the best and most transparent in Crypto.

Even on the small details most Projects just use the masternodes as a way to lock supply and inflate the price, not Zen 42 per Secure Node and only one ip per SecureNode , what they value is the integrity of the network.

The way the recent problems were dealt , shows the professionalism and integrity of the core.

Just as comparison Hush which is a one man show with it's dev radix , its valued at 150k ,  Zen 250k let that sink.

PS: nothing against Hush i think its a good project, just showing how much Zen is undervalued atm

People are sleeping on a giant.

IOHK was only hired to fix issues, I didn't see any connection between them and project, is there some news, about it, or some mere speculation from you?

My takeaway from Ros Versluis video was they're actively working on wallets and nodes. Looks like we're stabilised, but it'll be developments that will spur drive up. For me for zkSNARKs Zen is the only place other than Zcash where we can be if we want exposure to this protocol. If we wait for proper development of wallet and details of incentivised nodes this is better than trying to hurry it. Get it right we can make a real profit over a six month time period. Get it wrong, we can maybe make too quick to catch fleeting spike that dumps down in one or a few days after weaknesses in the rushed-out development become apparent.

This is consolidation time, and we have to wait for the developers to get right future developments around new wallet, secure nodes and so on.

Is there a roadmap with some timelines?

Mining difficulty just went up 50% and price increased by 15%.
Looks like people jumping on the bandwagon.
I am expecting a solid weekend.

Well, I am one of these people as I start mining something different to further diversify my holdings...

What I'm wondering about is a suggested wallet. There are two recommended in the OP:
Swing Wallet - https://github.com/aicjofs/zencash-swing-wallet-ui/
Eleos Wallet - https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/eleos

Should I use either of those, or do you have another recommendation?

Well I can't get it to work... latest Java installed, on Windows 7 64-bit, it's downloaded but every time it seems to complete "Verifying proving key" it crashes and I get this message:

Anyone seen this or know what it is about?

Yea.. This huge mining increase over the last 24 hours has really put a hurting on me. I had to go to bittrex and buy some zen. I think this weekend will be really good for the price increase on it. Keep an eye out boys

Guys, I'am a newbie in this crypto niche, but where do you check that mining difficulty increased? or you need to be very close to mining to understand this?

Price up 33% on coinmarketcap.com today. More importantly, volume up to half a million from half that over the last week.

Good news.

I have seen roadmap, but I did not see the times regarding wallet and secure node development. The sense I got from just generally taking an interest was that we would be looking at months. I guess my main point is, it's better to get it right in five months' time than wrong by rushing something out within a month.

Keep up the fight, this is only one round in a long fight. A good round, but only one round.
