Price up 33% on coinmarketcap.com today. More importantly, volume up to half a million from half that over the last week.

Good news.

I have seen roadmap, but I did not see the times regarding wallet and secure node development. The sense I got from just generally taking an interest was that we would be looking at months. I guess my main point is, it's better to get it right in five months' time than wrong by rushing something out within a month.

Keep up the fight, this is only one round in a long fight. A good round, but only one round.

G-d damn, I didn't buy enough at the $6.5 level. It took me too much time to liquidate other holdings.

ZenCash is moving forward on the Secure Node System. We are working to get this system developed and deployed rapidly. While the Team Veritas and community developers are working to add some updates, including OpenSSL, to the main Zen node software, we are contracting for the Secure Node System development as well.

A high level specification and discussion of the Secure Node system is ongoing at the ZenCash forum. If there are developers interested in providing a proposal for software development project management, detailed specification writeup, or development of the different system element, please read, discuss, and contact per the forum post:

https://forum.zensystem.io/t/secure-node-system-software-development-project-discussion/126

The original post on Bitcointalk has been updated with new mining pools. If you are running a Zen mining pool, please send a DM to get added.

Still having trouble getting a wallet set up. I've mined a few coins on suprnova but still without anywhere to send it.
Anyone got any advice for setting up Eleos? I've run it and the interface is not showing any updates, but I can see I am downloading a lot of data and that zend.exe is working pretty hard in he background, so I will leave it a few hours and check later.

For now, Swing just fails every time, and Eleos not being very responsive. Any advice is appreciated!

I think people have had working Eleos and working swing wallets - my sense reading here is not troublefree, but working.

I suppose, the easiest thing would be to keep Zen on Bittrex for now so as not have to worry about wallets. I don't GPU mine and therefore don't mine Zen - any of you miners had payouts to Bittrex wallet working okay?

I have tried both wallets on win 10 and both ran no problem for me without making any changes,I'm currently using swing wallet and works very well, what I noticed about eleos wallet that bugged me was I could not copy paste my receiving address no matter what I tried and only for that reason I switched to swing wallet.

suprnova dont sends coins automaticly immediately like yiimp ... you must setup how much coins it will send after mining (like im sending 2zens when they are mined directly to bittrex)

Thanks - this isn't my problem at all though. I'm using Suprnova just fine on other coins.

My problem is that Swing wallet always gives an error and crashes, and Eleos seems stuck not doing anything. I left it for about 6 hours yesterday - no change. This is on Windows 7 64-bit.

But like someone above said, maybe I'll just point it straight to my Bittrex wallet, although this is far from ideal.

Hopefully Jaxx will add support for it soon.

I think this is more self explanatory now.

I wanted to ask you what about promotion group? We can start small campaign, signature, Twitter which can help this project in return for small bounties. Without marketing product is invisible.

This is the why we chose ZenCash in the first place isn't it - because we realised without dedicated funding from a block reward share Zclassic was going nowhere, right? There is now a funding mechanism in place. Funds are accumulating. Marketing is expensive, and needs to be thought out and targeted.

But I'll tell you what each of us can do - we can ourselves, each of us, do a little bit to assist the marketing, just a post here or there on Reddit or Bitcointalk, Facebook, wherever. Just something, just get the name out there.

I'm not sure about personal bounties at this point - I mean, we're all early investors, surely if we believe in this coin we will spend a few minutes free to push it right? For marketing, I was thinking it's possible funding will eventually go to a partner company or individual who is in fact a marketing expert. That's what DASH did, with that young brunette woman doing a brilliant job in a marketing role. I'm pretty sure her background was marketing, not crypto.
