Congratulations for hitting the top 50 coins in market cap! This is awesome news since it hit the top 100 a few times over the last couple of month. The addition of Vertcoin to the ledger nano wallet was a great achievement, too. Vertcoin is the most intelligently crafted coin I've seen the last three years.
Vertcoin could easily reach the top 10 in the next three months.
Some of the Vertcoin Features:
1. Atomic Swaps
2. ASIC Resistant
3. Stealth addresses
4. Strong Community (lacking in many coins or just a bunch of goofballs)
5. SEGREGATED WITNESS Activated (Before Bitcoin knew what it was)
6. DECENTRALIZED MINING
7. Lightning Network

Same problem here, it started today, used to work fine, QT wallet won't get connections.
Yes also same problem for weeks now. Just 1 connection that stays up for a couple of miliseconds and nothing else. |

I see Vertcoin growing alot more in market cap in the future. It is much better technically and fundamentally as compared to Bitcoin or Litecoin.
Vertcoin has to catch up to its peers.

I am actually surprised to see so many people reporting about issues with their wallet, the lack of connexions (which mean connection issues) when on the front end Vertcoin is having a blast for the last few days. And even more, this morning, it is going really strong.... So, what is happening with the network? |

As this is a coin, which had its launch back in January 2014, there is also an older thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404364.0 with 683 pages. There you can see the development of the coin with an initial hype due to the ASIS resistency. The mining algorithms were changed several time to stick to this promise. |
