I'm going to lose my XLR?
2500 in cryptopia.
I'm going to lose my XLR?
2500 in cryptopia.
Cryptopia started delisting Solaris. When a coin is being delisted from Cryptopia , users are given 30 days notice to withdraw their coins. This is a standard Cryptopia practice because they not support coin swap. You need to withdraw your XLR from Cryptopia. You can still trade Solaris on coinexchange.io .Thank you for your support! SolarisDev, can you provide instructions for those of us who aren't savvy with the tech behind this? I have coins on Cryptopia, too, and don't know where I should be placing them. 1) How do I withdraw the coins? Where should I store them? Should I send them to CoinExchange.io? 2) How do I get my coins swapped, and what's the timeline for that? 3) When will the coin be relisted?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

1) This is an instruction for Beginners how to withdraw coin from Cryptopia :
https://goo.gl/gmoTkU
You can withdraw XLR to your local wallet (your PC) or you can deposit your coins at coinexchange.io as well ( https://www.coinexchange.io/market/XLR/BTC ) . Until Saturday we should agree with Coinexchange that they will do a swap of their entire holdings with me, so users don't have to worry about swapping.
2) On Saturday 07 October at 14:00 UTC the new Solaris network will start. Then we can start swap Solaris through our swap system (swap website will be given in Saturday 07 October at 14:00UTC).
3) After the swap is complete we can apply via Paytopia to have new XLR relisted.
To ensure the smooth swap old coins for the new one we will give you 60 days for swap ( until 06.12.2017 ) through our swap system . On Cryptopia you have 30 days to withdraw your XLR.
Thank you for support !

I'm curious about this as well. Hopefully there will be a couple of good options for mining at right from the start. I'll do some testing of the new algorithm as long as I have a place to point some GPUs at.

I have xevan support at cryptohub. I will add new coin solaris-xevan that will mean new coin. Mining of solaris-nist5 will be avalable for a while too. For now, you can check your mining software for xevan on mining AMS (AmsterdamCoin): https://cryptohub.online/pools/
