That was quite the market boom overnight. It's evident that the addition on Kucoin was a very good thing for Solaris. The volume there has been equal or greater then on CoinExchange, which has also had a big increase in daily volume. The market wants more Solaris and with a very small total coin cap each year that only bodes well for higher prices by the end of 2018. Smiley
You are likely extremely optimistic about XLR price by the end of 2018. Those pumps would came from miners so its chart looks like a spike. Should be careful.
As I mentioned before, its price has dumped in recent days (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solaris/) I think it should be under 200K satoshi that makes sense.

Is there some info on hashrate mining XLR on typical GPU cards? I've found some info that Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 gets 3.3 MH/s, is that correct? How about other Nvidia cards? Are AMD cards much worse?

My farms are issued to the ccminer:
1050 1282 kH/s
1060 2249 kH/s
1070 3620 kH/s
The overclocking of cards practically does not affect the speed.

Hey dev,

I am getting this when starting the solaris-qt linux binary:

Code:
solaris-qt: main.cpp:3055: bool ConnectBlock(const CBlock&, CValidationState&, CBlockIndex*, CCoinsViewCache&, bool, bool): Assertion `hashPrevBlock == view.GetBestBlock()' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

It's wallet 2.3.2.0 and it worked fine yesterday.

Any ideas?

To summarize:
AMD RX 560: 0.50 MH/s

Nvidia 1060: 2.25 MH/s
Nvidia 1070: 3.62 MH/s
Nvidia 1080TI: 5.60 MH/s

So Nvidia has more effective than AMD on hashrate mining. I have just ordered AMD RX 470 FXF. Dont know mine exactly. What a shame!

Do you have the same addnode in file solaris.conf?

nvidia is better on all algorithms except ethash and equihash.  For AMD Radeon owners I would recommend to mine some ethash coin, sell it and after that buy XLR or anything that you want to invest

Like your recommendation. Thank you. By the way, which coin name should I mine first? Can you introduce me some?

AMD Rx 470/570 can get about 1.45 Mh/s - AMD Rx 480/580 can get about 1.7 Mh/s on the Xevan algorithm in our experience.

It's wallet 2.3.2.0 and it worked fine yesterday.

Any ideas?

DO NOT add any addnodes

Try this "through the window" method.
That is what i used and it worked for me.
It can be likened to re-syncing and re-indexing.

Close your Solaris-qt
Open your AppData/Roaming/Solaris  then delete all EXCEPT for

    wallet.dat
    masternode.conf
    solaris.conf

Then restart your wallet (launch only the version 2.3.2.0)

I don't know if a negative signal had people selling XLR and initiated a trend, but if people are closing their masternodes and selling their coins, and that is causing the downward trend, that would be utter ly moronic.

If there are less MN then there will be more MN rewards coming to the remaining MNs that are still running. Smiley

No. I removed all the addnode= entries because someone in this forum said a few days ago that they're not needed anymore as the wallet comes with seed nodes already.

Was that wrong?
