How much Solaris do I need in a staking wallet to get .2 Solaris per payout?   Thank you. Right now I am trying to determine if the 266 Solaris I have in a staking wallet should be brought up to 275 or maybe it would not make any difference in regards to the reward amounts I can get?  Maybe I should move more Solaris into the staking walllet when I can bring it up to 300 Solaris?

I have about 226 XLR right now.  The last 50 stakes happened on average,  13 hours and 52 minutes apart.  The Average payout was 0.174 XLR.  Having more XLR than me, your payouts should be slightly more frequent than mine.

Does anyone encounter such a problem?
Wow, you are likely one of the strongest supporters of the Solaris project.
I say this because you have still worn signature of Solaris months after the end of the latest signature campaign.
Thanks bro!

I wanted to share with the other investors my results for July staking.  Instead of wild ass predictions or blowing smoke up your ass, here are my top producers for the month of July:

1. XLR @ 55.0% APR.  My wallet grew from 201.65 to 210.9 XLR.  Waiting to see if txbit.io will let me mine directly to it.

2. ZEN @ 37.2% APR. My wallet grew from 44.3 to 45.7 ZEN.  This will decrease to about half as the year progresses.  This is because the secure node only needs 43 ZEN to run and the reward does not change based upon the amount of ZEN.

3. PPC @ 1.6% APR.  The documentation says I should be getting 1%.  I am probability lucky this month.

4. PINK @ 0% APR.  No staking rewards this year.  The staking calculator says I should be getting 21.2%, but the payout will happen once every 244 days.  Been mining this coin all year with a pair of moonlander2.  The wallet is hogging CPU time.

5. LUX @ 0% APR.  Just started mining this coin.  The staking calculator says I should get 8.34% APR.  But at my current balance of 12 LUX, the payout will happen in 216.8 days.  I had more LUX, but I traded them for 14 XLR.

My plan for August is to mine LOKI, LUX, RYO, VIVO and exchange them for XLR.  Staking XLR will remain the most profitable for the rest of the year.  At block 648000, the reward drops dramatically.  This should happen in the January of 2019.

Solaris & txbit.io weekly update — Sunday 5th of August

Greetings Solaris Community,

The team has been hard at work and we are glad to bring you our first weekly update. During these updates we will mainly cover the progress made on any on-going projects, updates on new initiatives and occasional off-topic conversation.

If you have read July’s update posted earlier this week, then you are well aware that txbit.io is the top priority item for the core team to complete. Last time we spoke about txbit was back on the 25th of June. ( https://medium.com/@solarisXLR/txbit-io-dev-update-03-solaris-rewards-benefits-and-a-look-inside-the-foundation-ac0c02004451) We are extremely glad to report that a tremendous amount of milestones have been achieved since that update.

Complete since last update:

•Order Placing logic has been completed and integrated into the trading engine. Initial testing shows speeds of 50ms (0.05 of a second) to place an order on average.
•Buy and Sell Order Book logic has been completed and integrated into the trading engine.
•Buy and Sell functionality completed and integrated into the trading engine.
•Order Matching logic completed and integrated into the trading engine.
•Market History Integrated into the trading engine.
•Live charts and live statistics (Price/Volume/Change) completed and integrated into the trading engine.
•Balance system (Withdrawals/Deposits) connected with the Trading Engine.

In short, the trading engine is functioning in its basic form, although a lot of work still remains in polishing the experience and hardening all aspects of security.

This is a pre-alpha screenshot. The layout, interface and details are subject to change.

Next Week:

•Develop the ability to view and close open orders as well as historical order view in the trading engine
•Refine the Withdrawal and Deposit balance views to use the live update pattern, same as live statistics, removing the need to refresh the page to see balance changes
•Working on Landing Page for txbit.io and Community Vote for coin listing page.

Solaris

Last Week:

•Reviewing the Solaris whitepaper. Preparing content to add to v0.2
•As mentioned in the previous update, iOS wallet development has begun

Next Week:

•Continue working on the Solaris whitepaper v0.2
•iOS Wallet: Porting XEVAN to iOS

Thank you for supporting Solaris !

so right now XLR is one of the most profitable staked coin. are you using VPS or personal computer?

Based on latest news from Solaris team, the project, in particular the txbit.io exchange, has been developed continuously behind the scenes.
Solaris community will see the expected exchange publicly launched soon.
However, as the upgraded roadmap stated, beta version will be launched first in the fourth quarter, and the official version will be launched in the year of 2019.

If I were you I would check to see if you haven't split off the correct chain as unless you have a very large number of coins then that seems too many.

If there is no roi to exploit I am assuming not much new MNs owners will be
There is an asymmetrical return profile with the txbit revenue model, as long as it works I don’t see much downside from here, especially if you are looking into this with a 5yr+ investment horizon like me

Make a clear distinction between MN ROI and txbit roi, currently everyday 1224 new supply coming into the mkt, after January it wil be 360 only. Txbit roi you can view as like dividend and even 10% dividend is extremely generous. So Even with 500k daily volume and txbit roi at 10% floor for this coin should be at $2.
So just keep hoarding

I guess that the whole market will take off in the next two weeks.
And, Solaris will not be one of exception of this general trend.
Another plus point for this theory is Solaris has almost finished its accumulating phase.

The whole market could hit it's lowest bottom between now and the end of September. Please be aware of this so you do not give in and sell your Solaris.  Keep accumulating.  Buy into the dips.

I think even when the solaris will cost less than $ 1, the project will still continue. It's a great project with an excellent team

thats right, its not about price. the project should survive these bear times when many coins are dying.

Sounds like your wallet forked and is now staking on it's own.

Please follow these steps to resync your wallet to the correct chain: http://solaris.helpsite.io/articles/24853-launching-issues

The market is just awful. The constant decline without turning it is very annoying.

The market will stop falling, stable again before rising later this month.
Solaris might follow the next common trend of the whole market.
