Quick answer: no one knows if they did the market would go striaght up or straight down right away.  If you see a growth possibility and the risk/reward fits you risk level then buy, if not then dont.  That part is simple, 6 month price predictions are hard in stocks and dam near impossible in crypto.

But the total marketcap is nothing right now, we'll be suprised when the market hits 500B. Just think what viacoin can become.

I too see Viacoin as a big potential coin (long time lurker, just registered). But I made a lot of profit trading so far. Right now I have a huge % in Viacoin, because I think Segwit will put Viacoin on the map. I can't wait for confirmation. The waiting is killing me, which usually hasn't been a problem for me when doing crypto. I think we're sitting on a gold mine.

But even if nothing happens, I will always have a stake in Viacoin, I think it's one of the most solid projects out there and Romano is doing a great job .

Exactly, but theres only one thing I am worried about, and that is that viacoin already should have risen imo.
Solid roadmap, solid developer. I feel not enough people know the true potential of this coin.

Segwit hopefully will have an impact.

But on the other side, all crypto's are having a hard time growing atm, few exceptions like always.

I am holding anyway till we reach the 5 mark, wich I truly believe viacoin should easily reach.
Looking forward to the hardware wallet support aswell.

I see because there is a higher potentiality than other coins. VIA is way better than a lot of useless shitcoin sitting at top 20 or 30, most of them are ICO/premined scams. Carefully learn the roadmap and devs speech, you will find it by yourself....

I'm struggling with understanding what problem exactly viacoin is trying to solve?
Basically it's just meant to be currency, right? So same as btc, ltc and a slew of others. What makes it stand out and what makes you think it could be stronger than the competition in the long run?

In short the cryptospace is developing rapidly and VIAcoin is really fast at adopting the latest innovations. In the long run this will mean it will be more than a currency, but also applications can run on it.

VIA has already delivered 70000% return since the lowest price ( 0.003$ @ Jan, 2016 & 2.11$ @ Jun, 2017). And honestly in my opinion it will go further beyond....

True, but the market keeps dumping all the time.
Its almost if it encourages people to trade all the time.

Via is going down fast, will need time to heal itself.
Hopefully we hit 5 at the end of 2017.

The whole alt coin market dumped, but at some point, this will end. Just need to figure out where the bottom is and buy in. All normal in the crypto world. We will recover and be higher than before. No worries.
