I think that SegWit came a bit too late for VIA...
GitHub has been silent lately, will there be Styx or not?
Not true, some commits for "viacore" (no, this is not Viacoin Core bit Bitpay fork aka "Bitcore") and Eclair (LN wallet).
Pls note, yes again like last year
I am working in my own Github for Viacoin Core 0.15 (Just like last year beginning coding Viacoin from "scratch").
I think you know where to look, same place as last year.
New Roadmap? Probably.
Does it take time for making a roadmap. Oh yes. Contents, hire a graphic designer, peer reviews etc.
Is there anything anyone can do to help ?
Yes Viacore & insight explorer.
Do keep in mind, if you don't see commits every day..
Most of my time goes in research. Basically everything is new. Segwit, LN, Schnorr signatures etc.
And nobody knows it instantly because a lot is new, so yeah a lot of research is required.
I think 80% research & debugging. 20% "real" coding.
If anyone gets impatient but is able to write code, feel free to help.
Not everything is really hard to do. Maybe help pushing out another Viacoin SPV wallet for the public. (since running core requires some skills).
There are a lot of SPV wallets open source. It's a great learning experience for any young or old programmer.
