Monthly report: February 2018

In February we released a new MVP version and made a huge amount of progress the functionality of the system. We decided to build an Ethereum sidechain to cut operational costs and even announced a hardfork.

We outlined a schedule of events around the world and have sent our CTO, Igor Lebedev to the “Container World” conference in the USA to explore options for development. Keep reading to find out more details.

its price is now at 0.12$ this is so ;ow price and very near at its ICO price
from the last two year every time in the Q1 of the year prices of every coin low and then they start pump and in Q4 of the year their prices are at the peak
my point of view investment now in sonm coin could be more then 500% in the end of this year

The launch is in Q3, so the pump would be started from then on.Price has started to climb again and may cross 1500 sat now.500% seems to be less in my mind, I am expecting a 5x or 10x  pump or even more till we go end of this year.

if sonm will launch own new chain then sonm will be at whole new level
and also need swap sonm tokens from eth network chain
and one more thing if sonm release their own blockchain then you will never get sonm tokens at current price
this is a good time to invest in good project and sonm project have a great potential

Dev team is always working very hard to make it useful project I also think it will be worth for it to support this. I'm holding this token since ICO and still have good hope this will be great in future.

Someone mentioned masternodes not so long ago. Can I get a little more detail on that, please?

This is all very interesting, but can you clarify how many tokens do i need to become a masternode. We all holding our tokens and main reason for us is faith in sonm tech/team. We haven't dump our tokens and haven't planned to do it unlike other traders. And it would be nice to encourage us with this info.

Specially for you I will give here a part of this article from our blog, where it is said about the nodes:

Currently sidechain infrastructure is provided and hosted by SONM using POA (Proof of Authority consensus) geth mining nodes. This will allow us to launch fast. Later we have two options to develop and decentralize this architecture:

• If Ethereum will provide a native sidechain/sharding infrastructure and practical transactions costs there (total gas price for full SONM deal cycle) would be comparable to $0.01, we may migrate to native Ethereum sidechains.
   
• Otherwise we will keep our sidechain and decentralize mining nodes. This function will be delegated to most trusted hubs in a form of masternodes of some kind.The exact design of masternodes and economics around them is not yet defined, which is a matter of later research and depends on the progress of Ethereum.

Agreed with you because mainnet is planned to launch in next few months so that I also think after this great success it will grow rapidly. This investment will be helpful for all people who are looking for a safe way to make entry into this.

It will not effect the price because just they will release the mainnet for mining. It will take time to reach the higher price when the market grows, the sonm value is still low value but by the end of the year we can see some expectation in terms of growth.

but personnaly I hold sonm from ICO time even if it is far under market growth so now hold to 2023

I do not like current, potential  BTC shoulder-head-shoulder formation again. Especially not at this level. But realistically,,, SNM is not dependent on whatever BTC price will do. I know some of you have different view. But time will give us the answer.

Allthough i agree with your prediction, youre just pulling numbers out of your ass. Provide some arguments maybe? How the network could save hundreds of billions a year? How likely it is theyll partner up with Windows or Intel? How cloud and fog computing is estimated to grow exponentially to 400 billion by  2020? How the entire blockchain market is estimated to store up to 10% of the worlds GDP by 2027 (over 12 trillion)?

So many projects listed there with amazing predictions it seems they picked some potential tokens who are looking promising and there is space. I think so after launch of mainnet SONM will be skyrocket and price will explode and we achieve that level of 5 years more earlier.
