People those wonder why price of SNM are not increasing after the launch of mainnet should read the report for month of June. That explains what has achieved and what is next. There a lot of things which are to take the whole platform to real usages in coming months. Once you read the whole article you have totally other level of thinking with available information.

whether SONM is more profitable or less profitable than mining.  if SONM is so efficient and cheap, what's missing to have many customers?

whats missing is awareness, and a bugfree product. It has been shown to be more profitable, it has been shown to be operational, but it needs to work perfectly first. Don't forget the general purpose network only goes live in august.

SoNM is one of the oldschool projects that i still trying to pick up from the exchanges when price dropping. But generaly i mostly invest in new projects and ICO's.  For me it still having pretty big potential.

DAO MAKER is coming... https://daomaker.com/

I worry about our token on Eth masterchain, which is listed We can migrate to sidechain entirely, but it will require listing new token on custom blockchain. For exchanges it means supporting our blockchain nodes.

There is no comparison what nVidia's computing modular is charging and at what competitive rates SONM will provide better services inn more secure and decentralized way. Focusing on this area alone you can see how much money will be saved by individuals and companies those will start acquiring these services. I hope SONM will resolve the issues they described FOG computing is current facing and which are putting it on hold right now.

How will it require a new token listing? All that changes is that sonm will run on its own chain but a lot of projects do it like that.

I don't see a problem either, if they want to migrate SNM to an another chain they just perform a token swap and that's it. There also chains compatible with ERC20 tokens, talking about EOS and ARK in the future

I don't think they'll risk going with EOS, maybe ARK yes, but as long as they can they're staying on ethereum. Also, with projects like AION interoperability between chains is easy

SONM will not migrate to another chain at all, Why should they? It's risky to move to another chain as they might contain unknown bugs or exploits. Like EOS It's full of bugs!

Any estimate of a fully working Connor? when can it reach 100% mining profit? So miners can switch to sonm voluntarily

When is the mainnet of SONM is this still expected to be in September? or has the date changed, can't seem to the find the info anywhere

Did you go to their website and check out there roadmap or whitepaper? The crypto iaas mainnet went live june 30th, the general purpose net will go live August 31st.

I was under the impression that Sonm is already live and you can purchase/sell computational power? So you can do it right now or you have to wait august 31st?. Anyone is using it right now?
Yes, migration to the live network is already happened.
Yes, you can buy and sell power.
Yes, there is many people who already tried sonm.
Yes, you can do it right now, but...

But it's not as smooth as it should be. I think mostly because users have a very different hardware configurations. In my opinion, developers till 31st august will be intensively debugging and improve sonm's code. You can track progress on github.
Also soon we will see new conors for mining Zcash and Monero.
What I'm trying to say is that, It works!
That's when I start to produce my first coins mining Cash and Monero and it will be a profitable business compared to the purchase of physical capacity, then I will say that it works.

We don't make a profit, that's okay, sonm has an aim to make money, profit, right? What can you say about Sonm's financial statements to investors?

Greetings!
At the moment there is no model of income generation by the company. We raised funds during the ICO, and this will last for several years of qualitative development. Probably, in the future we will introduce some model of income generation.
Also, we do not publish any financial reports.

Best regards
SONM team

you can install a number of masternodes of yourselves to generate income, but that would defy the whole point of decentralisation. Then again, future development will be costly, maybe you can keep going without a source of income for a year or 5, but what after that? Even if the token value by then has gone up to 10$ a piece, selling your own stash isn't a reliable source of income

Yeah this is happening with a few projects late;y, should not be anything challenging to swap the tokens as necessary

migrate to another chain is not that so easy
if sonm migrate to another chain their work on sonm developments and update might disturb
and migration will take time. its not gonna happen in one day
i think sonm on eth network chain is going good their is no need to migration on another chain
when everything ready then sonm should move to their own blockchain

why you need to transfer to your own blockchain, it can lead to the loss of many users who work only with Ethereum tokens

they don't need to switch chains because they built their own, and second they have a partnership with AION who allow interoperability between chains so even if they needed to switch chains it would not be an issue
