Get either 1070Ti for ~500, 1080 for ~550 or 1080Ti for ~750-800. Any of them is totally worth it, you just won't mine ETH with them.

Hello,

i have a AMD Sapphire Radeaon RX 570 ITX Pulse 4GB Card with Samsung memory, but the linux os says the bios is not ok or is corrupt.
who can i get a org or modded bios for that card?

Best regards
Willi

I might have that one on store or you can find original here https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/

Confirm This GPU can do ~ 29Mh/s  (Hynix and Samsung confirm)

No such prices/models available...
Only those that I mentioned, and I think that 2 x 1060 are a better choice since 1080 is the worst GPU for mining Smiley

No, it is not. It mines any algorithm just fine and scales perfectly well with core count, just sucks for ethash.
All of those models are available in Europe, just search for them. geizhals.de is your friend.

It is just like any other Pascal GPU they aren't all good for ethash and cryptonight.

Radeon 570 nitro+ 8gb

Micron and hynix the same
30.x mh/s ETH and about 900mh/s DCR dual mining.

Strapping done

1300 / 2250 clocks
-100mv
Fan speed 50%

Good results?

My Asus Strixx Rx 570 4gb OC with Elpida memory, give 30.5mh/s with 1150/2050.Without any problems.7 card rig, draw 1030w from the wall
I have the same card but cannot go over 1980 MHz because it became unstable. I have only 28.4 Mh/s. Is it possible that +100 MHz memory clock give you +2 Mh/s?

i don't think your 1750 stock memory can go that high (unless you have samsung memory and not even that way). That memory speed is only possible IMO for RX 580 8gb sapphire (i have 2 of them at 2250mhz (hynix and micron).

The key question is: have you checked your GPU errors??? This is VERY important, because i think you will be doing errors in the billions. Simple as this: download a program called HWinfo64. Scroll down to "gpu memory errors". If you are getting more than 10 errors/hour you are actually overclocking way to much. My RX 580 4gb (with 1750mhz hynix), is doing 2065 mhz with like 1 error/hour or maybe less at a rock solid 30,2mh/s

-100mv makes no sense. You actually have to say the current voltage your card is using. Typically and depending on the asic quality of your card, from 850mv to 900mv is a very good to good undervolting. above that.....well....you just a a low asic quality card like mine. My sapphire RX 580 4gb on my testbench is 63% asic (brutally good for overclocking but very bad at underclocking and undervolting) will not let me go below 930mv for 1160mhz on the core.

if you see your hashrate vary very often that means your card is getting millions of errors.

If you have the same card, you actually have to take into consideration 2 aspects

1º the asic quality between the cards (silicon lottery)
2º quality of ram modules.

That said, 100mhz on the memory will not give you 2 mh/s more, but good memory timings yes. also gpu core speed is very important. Just one example: if i reduce the core of one of my RX 580 sapphire nitro+ 8gb from 1240mhz to 1150 (trying to use less electricity, i lose i hole Mh/s going from 32.2 to 31.2

you can try it yourself. open Polaris bios editor, open your own bios mod, and try the "one click patch". That will apply performance timings for elpida. maybe that would do the job.

GPU clock on my card is also 1150 MHz and that's why I just commented difference in memory clock.
My friend, who is in mining business for years, modded BIOS for my card and I guess he did a decent job.
Currently I have RX570 with Elpida memory @1950 and RX570 with Hynix memory @2010 MHz. Both cards have GPU @1150 MHz and BIOS modded by the same guy. Hynix model with +60 mem clock gives me only +0.3 Mh/s (28.4 vs 28.7 Mh/s). That's why I was surprised that zipa13 gets 30,5 Mh/s with just a +100 MHz higher memory clock.

He might be mining for years, but that doesn't mean he knows anything about bios modding. It's more likely only memshift from 1500MHz or so...

I previously used popular Anorak BIOS but BIOS that my friend modded gives me better hash rate (approximately +1 Mh/s), so I guess he has some knowledge.

I used PBE last week to strap mine.

30.6 Mh/s

radeon 570 8gb nitro+ hynix and micron.

take a look at your memory erros, you should be doing a lot of them.use HWinfo64 to see them. Anything above 10/hour is way too much. load the program and keep it in background for about 10 hours and then see how much you are doing. If you are doing 0 errors, you definetely have a high tiered Hynix.

But something does not match here. My 2 MSI's RX 580 Gaming X 8gb are actually doing 31,25mh/s with 1240 core 2125 memory at 865mv core. Your memory is clocked faster than my cards but actually getting less mh/s. This means your ram timings are very relaxed ones.
Could you post your 2000 strap??

None errors here. Changed to 2150 on memory now, will let it run through night. 29 mh/s on eth and 860 on decred.

I am away from the rig now. But I used PBE one click patch last week on the cards. Micron is doing a little bit better.

Today i received a Sapphire RX 570 nitro+ 8gb with micron memory. In the begining i said....well.....lets see how it goes (i already have one Sapphire RX 580 nitro+ 8gb with micron doing 32.2 with 0 errors rock solid so.....)

after a big big fail for me (i reinstalled Windows 10 on my test bench rig and had not installed ati patcher...... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes and i was having problems (obviously).

After realising that, modded the card, 1240mhz on the core (83% asic quality) ---> 856mv. Memory 2250mhz (<10errors per hour so incredibly good for that speed).  Result??? guess what....... 31,4mh/s which is actually more than i was getting on my MSI 580 8gb gaming X samsung (they will not do more than 2125mhz on the memory).

I'm brutally amazed of how well Micron memory performs. 100% good memory. 2 out of 2 good micron memory. Coincidence?? Don't think so.
