Snapshot for VirtacoinPlus


One of the frequent complaints is how long it takes to get a new VirtacoinPlus client up and running.
You can speed this process up by using the  blockchain snapshot, provided below.

Grab the file below, it's about 1.1 GB, so you want to get started early.

Download snapshot: ☛ Link

Once it's downloaded, you need to:

♦ Launch the VirtacoinPlus client once. This creates the needed directory.
♦ Close the client.
♦ Remove ''blk0001.dat'' file and ''txleveldb'' folder from the "VirtacoinPlus" data directory.
♦ Place  the downloaded ''blk0001.dat'' file and ''txleveldb'' folder  in the "VirtacoinPlus" data directory.

On Windows this is in your home directory, under "AppData\Roaming\VirtacoinPlus".
Easiest way of getting to the AppData directory is to open Windows Explorer and enter "%appdata%" as a path.

♦ After client is launched again, it will start from the last block in the snapshot.

I cannot get more than 3 connections in my VirtaCoinPlus 3.0 Client. 

I did a new install, used the ''blk0001.dat'' file and ''txleveldb'' folders from my old client, and place  in the new "VirtacoinPlus" data directory. My client is syncing and is current and up to date. 
I tried adding fresh nodes, and tried the .conf file, but still cannot get more than 3 active connections in my client.
When trying to add nodes by IP I get error, "Method not found (code -32601)". 
Is there an issue with my client? How can I get more connections? It takes a long time to update and stake with only 3 active connections.

There are no issue with your client. I also have 3 connections.

Usually, I get 3-4 network connections too.
My internet provider dynamically distributes IP. I don't know what the connection is between the IP and the xvp network. I don't know how and I don't know why, but sometimes my client shows between 20 and 30 active connections, and even more.
