So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

I dont really mind if I lose in this business because over thinjing mu loss i just gonna make me depressed and we all knwo that beung depressed is a bad thing. And vesides if we let our emotions drive us, it will just lead us into a bad decision and if we made a bad decision it might ruined our business because thinking wisely is a big strategy in this business. If you cannot handle your loss you might get crazy and get bankrupt in this industry. Always remember that we always learned from our mistakes.

i am trying to cover with another coins and i am trying hard. i know that we don't make profit in every day but i am sure that we continue to try, then we can make profit too. i think sometimes i am loss is because i am not analyze the coins for more but in other time, i can buy the right coin and finally i make profit with that coin.

I usually try to prevent high loss by using stop/loss when trading.

Setting a stop/loss 5% under buy price usually works for me, if market crashes you only lose 5%...

still I think most losses can be prevented by doing research about the coin you are willing to invest in.

With such a speculative market it is hard to exclude the risk of loss entirely.

But in my eyes if you take time to do research and also use features such as stop/loss when trading, losses can be reduced to a minimum.

i don't agree for any loss. fiirst I select some some coin that perfect for long run. i buy this coin when i see it price is low and wait for high rate. if coin price is dump i wait for high rate but don't get any loss.

Set a limit and stick on it, that's my success key in trading ,
Otherwise you will always get panic to deal with loss and instead recover it you get a deeper lost ,

well in my part i only charge my lost to experience you cannot become successfull without losses and that was a part of everyones life being humble and patience is  the best way to deal with the un even situation that can ruin life  if we cant control it .specially the human emotion we need  to control our self before we   success.

And for the new traders this is most often happening just don't pushing yourself if it's very hard for you to understand and adjust with trading. In the beginning it's very hard to control your emotion and as well as your capital because you are thinking positive but what's happening was different and it's opposite to what you are expecting. Dealing with your loss is like survival in the jungle.

I don't experience loss very often because i don't check my holdings in cryptocurrencies but whenever i get a loss. I don't think that it is a bad thing that happened to me because in fact, i am good with it because i can learn new things that can develop the knowledge and the way of thinking by getting lessons from those mistakes or losses that will help me to become better.

That is perfectly a very lovely way to deal with losses. See everything as an experience and experience comes with knowledge to be able to make better decisions for the future. If I lose, I see it as a way to challenge myself to do better next time, and when I do better next time, it is a plus for me. It is normal that only a fool keeps repeating the same thing expecting different results but once you have done it before and you revise your decision to a proper one next time, it surely makes you get better.

Well for me before i started trading I already conditioned my self and my mind that i am going to take the risk. What i do when my investment facing loss i do charge to experience and find my luck in trading other coins thats why i do not invest in one only coin i still have back up plan in case of loss.

Thought that you say is very appropriate, because it is the main step that we must have is the courage to take a risk. If we are a little hesitant about taking risks then it is certain that the investment will be a little disturbed and eventually will disrupt our focus on all the things that exist. The only thing we really have to have is self-control and analysis, otherwise everything will be bad.

I try to stay calm and do a great research on the altcoin i lost alot on. If it has chance to come back up, is the team still actively working on it, does the product still solve some problems in real use case and then cut my losses and move on or just hold.

Well for me it is based in the token that I have been trading. If I felt that if that coins has no chance to bounce back then I will get if but if I felt that coin is has bright future then I will wait. In trading we ought to be wise on the decision that we are making, if we loss then accept it because it is just normal and we should learn from that mistake but if we loss again then it is now our fault.
