All we know that bitcoin is online currency. So it will be generated by online transaction. So you can hide your identity. There is a big possibilty that many terrorist are using also bitcoin for their transactions. Because in online transaction they can easily do conveniently or smooth their transaction because it is safe from government. But if they are really used bitcoin to support their illegal transactions it doesn't matter. It is on the government's job or duty to caught criminals and terrorist. Just focus on your own business and void thinking about negative issues just think strategies on how you multiply your money.

It's possible, especially since bitcoins can not be traced. but that does not make bitcoin a bad thing. Bitcoin is not bad, it just depends on who owns it.

Sad to say but yes i agree that bitcoin is actively used already by terrorist recently as i saw in one of the news online. Because bitcoin transactions can be completed anonymously, the virtual currency is an ideal way for criminals (including terrorists) to hide their financial transactions from government agencies and law enforcement.Bitcoin can be sent anywhere, converted into cash, and deposited in banks. It’s as if cash was made invisible in one location, secretly taken to another location undetected, and then made visible again.Terrorists can then use the cash they get from their converted bitcoin to buy weapons, clothes, food, pay rent and cover their other expenses. |

I don't have any proof but that could be possible. With anonymity feature, sending Bitcoin to someone will give no identity. And I think Bitcoin has been used before for purchasing illegal stuff in the black market, that's according to the documentary I have recently watched. I guess that's happened or maybe that's still happening.
That's not a good thing if you will look on the big picture. But it's possible only if the supporter who holds bitcoin turned into a bad person. As long as the holder is in right mind it will never happen cause nobody will support terrorist. It's only possible once a bitcoin holder was convinced to do so. |

Bitcoin as a overall transaction it is an world wide . terrorists use bitcoin to do transaction of money easily and to do online payment because it is online currency . bitcoin is a safe grad because no one can traced the bitcoin. terrorists use bitcoin to to illegal things to get profit most of the crime people use bitcoin.If bitcoin bands more effect is to terrorists because they con't do online transaction and suffer a lot.

There is a high possibility that this could happen. Being able to freely transact in any individuals is a big advantage for those terrorist. Knowing the fact that in every transaction they could hide their identity because of being anonymous.

Supporting terrorists using bitcoin, for me its possible since after searching online reading some news about some people using bitcoin to buy guns similar to what some terrorist groups are using then it’s highly possible that there are people using bitcoin to support and fund terrorists. Bitcoin are also much harder to trace when using it doesn’t leave enough trails to trace where its been sent and to who its been sent to. I am hoping that the people will be aware to use this new technology to help and improve the lives of people.

It can be used, bud it's the same with cash. If you spend cash on gambling is it bad? Unethical? What about prostitution? Is it bad? In some countries it is in some it is not.
Regardless of that it's never the fault of the cash that it is being spent on something, it's the fault and decision of the spender.
Bitcoin can be used to support terrorists, but it can also be used to fight them and finance groups of mercenaries that will be hunting down those terrorists. It's our choice.

But what if bitcoin be used to support some bad organizations, even terrorists? Is this already happening? What i am worrying is if bitcoin be widely used for bad things, negative news would be all over and bitcoin price will drop. It will lead to tougher regulation. Do u think world leaders are willing to kill btc to make sure they can fight terrirists? The bitcoin is a currency just like fiat only better. If people can use fiat currency to fund terrorist or buy any illegal stuff with fiat they can still do the same with the bitcoin since it also serves as a currency. By the way, doing illegal stuff with bitcoin will not destroy the bitcoin price in the market. |

this is the only concern I have with the use of my bitcoin and cryptos. If an obstacle is put in the way of malicious people to use money with this good intentions, everyone will be comfortable and the value of the crypto money will rise as well. I think that instead of cryptographic prohibitions by states, malicious people need to find a way to prevent them from using crypto. I know this is not easy, but if they find a way to do it, then I think crypto money will reach very high values around the world.

Of course that Bitcoin is not supporting terrorists and it can't, Bitcoin is not an institution that decides something. But we can deny that Bitcoin is used for illegal activities, including terrorism because of greater anonimity than fiat currencies and because it's still harder to track the transactions. But that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is terorrist currency. |

But that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is terorrist currency. even though fiat money or any other payment methods do also used by terrorist and criminal people in order to do their criminal activities therfor we cant just say that bitcoin is the only one curency that criminals have been using. Bitcoin is also not fully anonymous and users of it can still be able to trace , and i know that criminals or terrorist are also aware with that because they are smart enough. they should be able to use other privacy coins other than bitcoin for a much better anonimity. |

Was there no terrorism before 9 years when there was no bitcoins ? Terrorists also use cash and other payment options for transaction. Will you ban all these and start the barter system ? Just associating bitcoins with negative things to get its prices down is not a cool thing in my opinion. If someone is using it for illegal work, catch and punish that person. Why are you forgetting the good things about bitcoins. |

Bitcoin as crypto currency is can be used in any forms of payment transactions like real money can do and bitcoin already used by criminals before until now. Terrorist is using bitcoin now as a tools for their financials because it is anonymous and it can't trace their transactions.
