You can't cease a cryptocurrency, you can try to affect the exchanges though.
Tor Project has shown no signs of trying to put down Torcoin, they merely let out a statement letting people know they're not running Torcoin and that's it.

I agree a disclaimer should be put on the front page that we're in no way associated with the Tor Project.

I don't feel it's a major concern but it should be addressed.

This issue is causing a real concern in some quarters which has landed the op some red trust and that alone is a tag here that people take seriously even me myself, I had to go check it out why the red was there to get a better understanding.  I still believe a disclaimer to clear the issue raised and the red trust will bring an end to the lingering issue any time anyone visit the thread but disclaimer will allow every one get over it and move on.

Exactly, I believe this should be addressed because new investments will probably not even look through the thread after seeing the tag.

There is no way to address it. Anyone can leave red trust for anyone else, for whatever reason.  There is no reasonable trust system on here and the mods could care less.

It's always nice to trade a coin that is listed in several exchanges. I am no expert in trading but I take advantage in instances like this where the coin will overly price low in one exchange and high on another which means an easy and fast profit for me. I hope torcoin will be listed in other exchanges to.

wow cryptopia really got some big buy and sell differences unlike ccex which is the value are more competitive,

good to see the TOR at cryptopia and knowing that the dev still working to make it listed in other more exchanges too, it's good to be on many exchange as for me, i'm always doing ARBITRAGE trading, i bought some coins from exchange with lower price and sell them in an exchange with higher price, though it's not always come with very wide gap but it's really worked for me.

not that easy to do the buyers on cryptopia are buying a very small amount at 110, they set a lower buy order for dumb dumpers that are dumping at 10k satoshi lol, not sure if it worth to change my address to cryptopia, i don't want to wait much for the order to be filled and i can't sell immediately there, because of the reason stated before

I just downloaded the TorCoin wallet and I must say that there seem to be no problems with it at all. No virus alerts anymore or any stuff at my end. I really hope this helps others to confirm the software is completely legit to my vision. Let's buy some Tor

Just on these forums over a 100 of us is using the wallet and no one reported anything wrong happening to them.
We also had ESET, BitDefender, Webroot and Cyren review the code and update their virus signatures
