HARD RESET ON TESTNET

Borz has worked throughout the day to clean up some bugs and we are now in the midst of a hard reset of the TESTNET. A few other changes have occurred with a new wallet design and some additional functions... We wait for the new wallet and some more testing should begin soon...

Anyone else interested in participating, please be sure to download the latest wallet for your machine at the ANN and then get in touch with @rule144 on Slack for further instructions.

If you want to see the transactions and blocks being mined by the STATIC miners, you can see from the TESTNET explorer:
http://testnet.xtrabytes.global/index.php

Again, keep in mind that we are sorting out the bugs before the PUBLIC test. This is however, our first look at the live tech!!

All,

CCN's slack XBY selling is temporarily closed.  It took just two days for you guys to buy up everything.  On that note, I am still in the market to buy large XBY stashes.

Would you guys say Xby is more similar to Ethereum/Neo

or is it more like Ripple?

Which coins do you guys eventually hope to compete with in the same segment?

Looking for the next 10x Small Cap for Q2 2018? $XBY (dApp Platform, New PoSign Algorithm), $SHIFT (dPoS Decentralized Web 3.0 on IFPS) & $BLOCK (Blockchain Agnostic DeX, atomic swaps)

I would say any modular platform that dApps can be built. The difference is XBY will be independent in code language and also have a more secure network based on the new consensus, Proof of Signature. I'm really excited to see that testnet up and the white paper will be able to be written because we will all see how it works!

I've had a special delivery of 300k more XBY for sale - please PM me in slack for quick TX.  Can put it on cryptopia or sell bilaterally.  First come first serve!

Thoughts about the fill up of lvl 1 statics.
From a security and decentralized network perspective, wouldent it be optimal to let ppl who havent already got any nodes being first in line to buy some??

People continue to ask what we speculate the price of XTRABYTES to be in the future. I have done some research on coinmarket cap for coins that have a huge circulating supply and also coins with a similar supply. The following information shows where XTRABYTES is and what potential prices we can speculate to achieve with the continued hard work of the team and community.

CoinCurrent CapCurrent PriceCirculating Coin SupplyATH
NEM$2,246,427,000$0.2496038,999,999,999$0.30
IOTA$2,363,631,946$0.8503712,779,530,283$1.10
BitShares$358,446,936$0.1379562,598,270,000 $0.46
Golem$232,940,738$0.279630833,032,000 $0.67
XTRABYTES$13,394,225$0.020606650,000,000 $0.041
MaidSafeCoin$215,357,474$0.475873452,552,412$0.74
SysCoin$61,525,919$0.116742527,024,711$0.238

People also ask how many developers XBY has many times in a week. Currently, XTRABYTES has two core developers working on the platform core code. There are other developers who help with tasks such as wallet upgrades, skinning, and testing. Remember, this question will be hard to answer in the future when the modular platform is released. Thousands of developers could essentially be part of XBY's team just by developing modular decentralized applications tied into the XTRABYTES core network. This is exciting to have this large of a dynamic capacity.

So I leave you with this, looking at the other coins with a lot larger and also similar supply to our 650-millions coins and also looking at the team and community, where do YOU see the potential price in the future?

I know where I'm standing!
