Heard a rumor that facebook  was thinking about launching their own crypto. What do you guys think about this?

Would also love your feedback on Algebraix. App that keeps your data private and pays you to watch ads. how do you think they will measure up to the advertising giants like facebook and google?
For now I think it is best we treat this news as a rumour until we get an official statement from Facebook or Mark Zuckerberg. But I see the possibility for them too to create their own coin.

We can see that up to now Facebook and Google have not issued their own coins. And this is only a rumor and there may be some fees paid to advertise on Facebook.

That's true but that rumor might come true, there is a new rumor also the samsung with their new phone s10 is adding a crypto wallet.
With that to come true, I guess that will ignite big companies such as facebook and google to ride with with it, I believe time will come they will adopt.

Such giants will work only with their cryptocurrency, it is not profitable for them to add someone else's, why give such PR to left-wing products, if you can make your product top-end

That has already stated from the beginning if this is just another rumour only. But so many people don't even care about that and they are still creating a noise about this. And then they can create it anytime and it's so easy for them as big company in the world.

Until now, Facebook has not yet created crypto itself. It's just news that is uncertain and not true. But for the future if this is true, the news might be that Facebook is very good at making its own krypton. Of course this will be the latest technology from Facebook

I think it will be very cool. Indeed, in this case there will be a truly massive project with real benefits for the crypto market. But I still have big doubts on this issue. As far as I know, now Facebook is not interested in the development of this direction, the social network has other priorities.
