So essentially, the price of MNE will be determined by the exchange rate of 1 MNE to Artemine.
If 1 ETH = 1000 ART and 10 MNE = 1000 ART (Example) then the price of MNE should technically reach somewhere near 10% of ETH price IF there is a large enough interest in the project.
It would eventually balance itself out, who would invest 1 ETH into ART if you could get the same amount of ART for cheaper by purchasing MNE and converting?

If that was the case it would be terrific! MNE rate explodes since everybody want to get into ART using MNE.
I truly hope Dev will consider something like this for a limited time only to allow MNE holders to get a good deal for ART.
We all know the sudden sidepath in development did not do well for MNE upon this point and hopefully Dev agrees that MNE holders deserve some kind of relieve.

At large glance it seems ratio of MNE against ARTE token is basic element of confusion. I am not clear will see what is all about really.

If the deal is good I would consider to move completely to ART and have all my MNE's burned in the process! If others follow that same path, imagine what would happen with the total supply of MNE!! It will be ATH asap I guess and everybody will be happy :-)

I wouldn't say $30 is unrealistic, it was at $12 with little demand for the coin.

What will happen to MNE after the ICO is finished though? Will dev be working on both projects still, or will MNE be left to rot?

MNE will continue to have its dedicated team so don't worry, it will see its development.
ART will have different features and a different purpose but this won't take anything away from the future of MNE itself.

I would like to keep the discussion focussed on the benefits for MNE holders before the ETH ICO. No one should have doubts or FUD the future of MNE but the main focus should be to protect its value and to make sure it benefits from the ICO as well.

So, get the incentive for MNE, more coins to burn, less supply after ICO, lots of upside in exchange rate expected.
