People accumulating before the Artemine ICO I imagine

I read the whitepaper.
It doesnt say if there is a minimum of ART to buy to have a genesis address.

My understanding is that any ETH address that is investing in ART will become a genesis with an starting amount of ART dependant of the ratio ETH/ART when the transaction was done. 

Am i correct ?

These are the exchange rates we will use for the ICO:



The ICO will run for 30 days, for each day you can see the price of 1000 ART in ETH and MNE.

As an example, in the first day 1 ETH will buy 1000 ART and 10 MNE will buy 1000 ART.

All purchased ART will then be mined for about 60 years as per the current average block time (100000000 ETH blocks), the actual duration will depend on the ethereum block time over time.

Is there any way to transfer the available MNE, if the wallet used is a ether wallet on Poloniex?

Do not use exchanger wallets because you will lose your MNE.
Make sure you use a wallet that has its own private key. My advice, MEW is the best option in my opinion.

How do I send MNE from an exchange into MEW? And then do I just let it sit there for now?

Who, outside the MNE community, would be willing to invest their ETH for tokens that then takes them 60 years to receive?
I wouldn't .. unless I had a shitload of ETH!

Hodling is one thing...but 60 years?! Most of the investors will be dead by then.
I did believe in MNE, but it will most likely spike before the ICO, and then die off.

If you buy ART and its start mining each day while this coin takes it to the exchanges you have an opportunity to continue selling you coins until your old days!
If you invest 1 ETH in 1000 ART and the supply grows with the increased availability of coins it can be massive since Dev raises money to get this one listed a pretty much all the exchanges.
1000 ART could suddenly  be worth 10.000 USD (take MNE in the early days) but if you invest 10 ETH you will have 100.000 USD to mine over 60 years.
It comes down to the question are you willing to take the risk but reap the benefits?

Will 10 ETH by worth 100k USD in 60 years? Or will ETH only be a subject in the history books :-)

For now it would be good to invest a little ETH to purchase MNE and use these MNE to buy into ART. At the moment this is still a better option since it's cheap compared to ETH when you buy in this ICO next month.

It's an interesting concept and who knows where it will end up!

You can't buy it yet. There will be an ICO in September to buy ART for ETH or MNE.
MNE can be traded at livecoin and is currently valued a lot lower then what is offered in the ICO (4 USD vs. 30 USD worth on day 1 ICO).

This is happening because of upcoming ICO to ART token technically it should go around $30 as per chart of conversion. I hope price will skyrocket when the final date will be announced from my point of view it's still cheap to buy more.
