$350 + $70 shipping seems to be a lot. Keep in mind, ASICs are coming out this summer, BFL is about to ship 1st batch of orders and there is KNCminer too.

Do not worry, UPS does deliver within 2-3 days to Germany.

what about customs?
any experience with UPS?
whats the declaration?

Customs takes another 19%, which you won't get around to not paying, unless you are really lucky.

UPS will take care of that for you, DHL and Deutsche Post do not.

This means that UPS will stand in front of your door and want CASH. Happened to me some times, and they didnt take CC or anything.

I think your right.  I was thinking of doing a group buy for UK folk.  I figure by the time they have paid for themselves, all the ASICs will come on line.

If you get to the 300 or 250$ mark, I might be in. 250 plus shipping from UK should work out fine. Nice toy to play with.

I am thinking about ordering, but 70 are crazy.

If you wish to save on the shipping cost, please leave a note when you place the order and we'll check with UPS and DHL and we'll try to get you a lower cost. At the moment we charge 70USD flat rate worldwide but it might change in the near future (up or down) based on the weight of the packages.
Alternatively, if you're not in a hurry we can use EMS which is cheaper but slower (5-8 working days).

I wouldn't worry about the VAT unless you really want to pay it. You should not get charged VAT.

thanks for the offer, I was already thinking about 10 myself. I didnt think about VAT and Zoll, this makes this pretty much.. a no deal, i guess. it will be 300$ + 21% = 363$ although i got a 10+ price of 300$ each. + 7$ a unit shipping when I order 10. grml..

Guys, make them cheaper! Cheesy

I strongly think that you won't get charged VAT unless you tell the customs how much you've paid.
We would love to make them cheaper, but the FPGAs are very expensive and we need to pay for them. They are in the same price range of Intel CPUs.

We can work on the shipping price if that's an issue. Just drop us a note in the notes and we'll inquire DHL what is the exact price to your city.

Yes, right. By the time BFL ships, we'll also ship ASICs.

Just keep an eye on us!

If it's going to the UK, then just when you think you have got away with it, an invoice for over 20% comes through the door.  Depends what value is declared at the point of shipping.

Nope in Germany (p. ex) they look it up in the internet if they find something with a value they apply tax (based on this value) if there is no bill you have to provide one or your item wont get clearance. The gift thingie wont work! And If you don't compy to their wihes , ..... imagine what they will to with a non certified electrical component:P

You can be lucky though..... i had several items shipped from honkong or usa that passed Zoll without ever being looked at!

The "gift" option make's it even more visible towards the customs people!

This quantity is not available immediately.  You should be able to pick up 100 pcs in the week 6-10 of April. Please place an order on the website and do _not_ pay for it. Mention that you wish to pick it up from our office in Shenzhen and you'll pay cash.

We're not aware of any service that will do cash on delivery from China to USA. We accept bitcoin escrow though.

Do these come with 10k resistors in positions R56 and R47 for 1.16V core voltage, or are they 9.1k resistors for 1.26V core voltage?

What will the 10K resistors do for the device?
