just wanted to let you guys know, although you guys ran into trouble and some choices might not have been perfect, the speed at which you are communicating and the transparency for the reasons you run into trouble (Even possibly problematic decisions, such as buying not enough chips early on), are very commendable.

Compared to many other companies, you can take at least pride in the way you are communicating.

Thank you for that. It's not only the speed.

Now we've secured the IC and even managed to get them manufactured in the first batch. Our staff is in the factory right now.

The Lancelot boards should be ready on Friday, tested by Saturday and shipped Saturday, Monday or Tuesday, depending on the customer's payments. All our queue will be cleared then and as promised from our first email message, we will not have missed the deadline (well we've missed it but only by 1-2 days). I think you'll agree that we've done admirably.

Regards!

Sounds good, I'm waiting until I see multiple confirmed units in peoples hands before making any decisions here.

So has the process changed from order and wait for email to send payment?  Are we just paying now as we submit the order?

I'll add that so far I have received great customer service and fast communication. I am tracking a delivery scheduled for later today and will post pictures when it arrives.

In response to those of you arguing that these cards are barely worth it, I would suggest you are probably better off holding on to your btc instead of investing in any kind of mining. IMO the current prices for pre-ordered ASICs are comparable to these boards with longer wait periods. Asicminer USB mining drives are a perfect example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.msg1819469. They are rumored to cost around 2BTC for 300m/hs and as far as I know they are still not available. I imagine in a few months a limited supply will become available in large lots and they will be resold for more than what these lancelot boards cost today.

Is the Mt Gox rate we pay at the "current rate" or "weighted average"?

They put your bitcoins in as a Mt Gox trade to equal the $ owed + 1%
As soon as Mt Gox executes it, you have paid.  Hopefully the exchange rate wont drop like a stone, like it did for me, but it bounced back up the next day.

So I put in an amount of bitcoins at equal to what I hope will be the rate + 1% a short time in the future and hope for luck?

Although my Mt Gox account just got verified I haven’t used it yet so I only partly get this.

The exchange rate right now is 111 http://bitcoinwisdom.com
If your invoice is for $1000

1000 + 1% = 1010

1010 / 111 = 9.0990991 btc

Which speed grade is printed on the new XC6SLX150 batch?
Would you share with us some pics of the manufacturing process?

We have only one left clearing payment 3.8 at 117.5. Is this your payment? We are closing to the delivery date therefore if the bitcoins doesn't go up you might need to think about adding some more satoshis in order to reach your total amount.

We'll be using 2I for this batch. We've tested and they have exactly the same performance.

@blackarrow

Code:
AC to DC Power Adapter

    Input voltage: 100-240 Volt AC
    Output voltage: 12Volt
    Output amperage: 10Amp

Can power up 4 Lancelot devices at the same time

Is this 1 to 4 DC splitter 5.5x2.1mm OK, to power up 4 Lancelot from 1 AC to DC Power Adapter?

Woohooo Grin! The first half of my order arrived today. Very fast shipping, only two days from China to USA. I still have to make up some power cords to attach to the ATX adapter, but I think the later order will come with them. See pics below

Unless I have been conspiring with Blackarrow since 2011, I would say this is at least one independent confirmation that lancelots are shipping. I have not fired it up yet, so that will come later tonight  Wink.

These have an ROI of what, nearly a year? Obviously better than GPUs but compared to ASICs :/ Is it really worth it?

Got the first one up and running. Working on setting up PSU with all six. If the fan does not start automatically, switch which 3 pins it is plugged in to and it will start right up. Here are some more pics.
