At least, there are big clubs trying to sign Kai Havertz. but to be honest, I wonder why Madrid and Arsenal are interested in this Chelsea player. I doubt that Real Madrid was really considering to sign Kai Havertz at least in this summer. First of all i think they have a very good offensive midfield already with players like Valverde and Vinicius Jr. and they also need a real number 9 now way more because obviously Benzema has left the club, which was a pretty big surprise for the Real officials i would guess because their initial plan was to play another season with Benzema and then for the next one they would try to get Haaland.
Now Real is forced to buy a new number 9 immediately and they need a very good one. So i doubt they have funds left for Havertz or any other player that is not even needed that much.

Chelsea management are doing as much as possible to recover some of the money that they spent during the transfer season by choosing to put the sell off price of these players that they want to let go at very high price. Arsenal will be discouraged to continue because he will be too much for them to want to buy at that price with Declan Rice deal. Liverpool were at one time interested in Mason Mount but the price on his head discouraged them.

For Real Madrid, with Jude Bellingham and other young midfielders like Camavinga, they have a very goo midfield that will become better as the years go on. They need to secure defenders so Camavinga does not play leftback this season, and a good striker as Benzema is out.

Real Madrid need quite a lot of strikers next season, at least I think they need 2-3 strikers.

We have seen how he played with Chelsea, even with Tuchel at the start of the season. we agree that what makes his performance unstable may be due to an unsupportive team situation. but unfortunately, the action at the 2022 world cup was not that impressive either. that's why, it would be a gamble to bring it at a fairly expensive price. To tell the truth I find this price tag quite expensive for Havertz. I wouldn't like to underestimate Havertz's talent of course. Football is an industry of course so this kind of prices will be our new normal in time. But for now I can't get used to the idea of paying 75 milion euro for a player like Havertz. He hasn't been that much impressive in the three-season time period with Chelsea. Chelsea insisted on putting him on the centre-forward place most of the time and this wasn't a good idea at all.

Because Havertz were playing as attacking midfielder mostly for Leverkusen and the second best place of him was right wing. I don't know if the risk is worth being taken for Arsenal as a result. Havertz is still 24 years old but I don't know if he is completely open to get much better than this.

I'm sick of saying it, Mason Mount is completely over hyped by the media, yes he might be a quality player but not yet to the standard they think. He didn't put up a good performance for Chelsea last season, he was also dropped by Graham Potter.

I am not so satisfied with this news especially for the huge amount Chelsea are asking for his signature. Kai Havertz is a good player but his Premier league spell has not surpassed an average performance in the last two seasons, I doubt he is worth £75-80m which I also doubt we will be willing to pay. 50m is a considerable price for Kai Havertz in my opinion.

Ancelotti has a bigger job in this transfer window this season.
