That power shopping that FC Chelsea did during the last winter break was really to me. They have spent the most money ever in a winter transfer period, if i remember correctly, and in the end it did not bring them any benefit even though they have spent so much money (more than 300 Million €). If he plays in the midfield, Havertz does not have defensive awareness so if he plays LCM, they have to figure out how to shield his weakness. Looking at the way he plays, i think he will create a suboptimal environment in their defensive transition. We mostly think of when the team is in control/ attacking phase. We will be very vulnerable in very succeptible to counterattacking team.

And Chelsea made the mistake of hiring Lampard, making the matters worst. Chelsea problem is just a good coach but the poor management decision, the management are responsible for the failure f the coaches, they bought players without the coach consent, they wasted money on players that are not to play in chelsea, and if they continue to manipulate the transfer market like that it will cost them more, regardless of the coach in charge.

Pochettino, is an experienced coach, he has to sell some players in the squad and bring in his type of player's. The management should give him free hand to operate.  and the fans should not expect him to perform magic in his first season, he inherited a damaged team.
