It will be sad to see that Liverpool did not give Sallah at least one year contract extension because he is a mainstay player in the club, and his contributions might still be needed next season. Who knows what will be the fate of Liverpool without Sallah, because he needs a replacement. Sallah might choose to go to SPL and make huge amounts of money for his retirement.

Maybe so the contract proposed by Liverpool to Salah is not as desired or from high salary demands but Liverpool did not grant it so that the contract signing was not done by Salah.

The rumors seems to be true, These are 3 important players in the team that if Liverpool should lose them it will be a huge loss for them and their departure will definitely affect the team negatively unless if the coach can manage the situation properly.
Salah have been a very crucial player for them and even this season it would have been a different story if Salah was not with them. The Liverpool squad was an already built team that Slot had to inherit so it made the work easier for him but without a few quality players like Salah, Van Djik and Arnold will make things a bit difficult and that is the only time we will know how good the coach is and if he can still compete and challenge for the title without these players.

But wait a minute, is this really true assets? I mean, do you have any references that this news is true. If this is true, then litterally it will be the trilled movement for real Madrid fans. Dani Carvajal is out of the squad depth for the rest of the season due to injury and that's why Real Madrid performance has been declining. Trent Alexander Arnold is such a classical fullback his overlapping skills are so good, especially in the counterattack build up. So his signing will be beneficial for the team. Ever since Dani Carvajal got injured, Real Madrid's attacking posture has been deprived of the fullback's contributions. So Trent Arnold can fill all the gaps that Real Madrid is feeling due to Carvajal's absence. 
 
But anyway, we don't know how much truth is in this news, but if this news is really based on the truth, then Real Madrid has taken the best decision.

I understand that the injury of Dani Carvajal is seriously affecting the performance of Real Madrid but they'll have to improvise till the end of the season when their target Trent Alexander-Arnold will be free to join them

Salah will obviously end up in Saudi Arabia, he talked about moving there a couple of years ago if I remember correctly. And I think the fact that he hasn't yet agreed to extend his contract is because he was apparently offered a pay cut, but there's no point in him accepting such an offer since there is an option for Saudi Arabia. If it weren't for the Saudis, he would definitely have stayed in Liverpool, but now there is a lot of money at stake and there is no point in refusing.

Alexander-Arnold have longed been linked to Real Madrid for a while now and this news is not coming as a shock to me as Real Madrid is really in need of a player to take over Carvajal’s position who is already out of season and his age also won’t make him to perform optimally as he use to in the past. I had once put Trent in the same category with Steven Gerard base on how they both raise to the clubs rank from the academy to been a fan favourite and also potentially both also ending up as club captain, I had picked Trent as the next club captain if Van Dijke leaves the club and he could potentially join the league of club legends at Liverpool, but the report currently suggest he is definitely looking for a way to get to the Spanish giant, I watch his interview earlier this season of having the ambition to win the prestigious Balon D’or one day and the only club that sets you up easily for that is Real Madrid even though his position of play doesn’t get recognized for such awards.

The main problem here is that, Real Madrid is a dream team for almost every young player, that is why many players are not rejecting an offer from them because it will make their dream come true in the future; but Madrid as team is ruining players career especially players that still have potentials because they will hardly get a better team after leaving Madrid, and Madrid can only allow you to go if they have used you to core.

On Trent issue, since he failed to sign new contract with Liverpool, that means he might something in mind which making move to Madrid can be amongst them; but if Liverpool try to give him more money, he can stay with them for more seasons especially if they win either the Premier League or the Champions League this season.

In the past, Manchester United failed to scout and sign younger talents but rather went for overrated players which didn't turn out well, but i think this new Sporting management of the club led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his crew are beginning to figure out the errors made by the previous management (Glaziers) and seeking possible solution, so i believe that's why they're beginning to prioritize younger talents over made players that would be signed for a huge figure yet they won't make much impact to the team, it's a welcome development and highly needed concerning the transition stage they're currently in, Ruben Amorin would be pleased with this cause he needs younger talents who would hit the ground running and blend in immediately they come in for him to succeed as a manager here.
