Suarez & Vidal are past their best, it’d be good for them to find new clubs. I don’t see Man Utd willing to pay that kind of money for Fati, he’s done nothing to justify that kind of fee. Arsenal are busy in the transfer market this summer.

Suarez & Vidal are past their best, it’d be good for them to find new clubs. I don’t see Man Utd willing to pay that kind of money for Fati, he’s done nothing to justify that kind of fee. Arsenal are busy in the transfer market this summer.

Wondering how much Barca is going to pay Suarez and Vidal to get them to out of their contracts and from their payroll. I am sure they won't gladly wave off their (presumably huge) salary just out of pure kindness. But they have to start somewhere when they want to rebuild the team and Suarez, even though he did a lot for that club, would've been my pick, too. And Vidal, well, I haven't seen him as that important for the team anyway.

I am just asking myself how much money Barca has to work with in the current situation to buy new players. So if Manchester United really is willing to pay that absurd sum for Fati, they should take that deal. But I doubt that any team is spending around $200m in a situation where it's not clear when and how fans can come back to the stadiums and how the TV-money will be decreasing in the upcoming years.

As before, Arsenal have always wanted to bring in this player and that. In my personal opinion, I prefer Thiago to play with Liverpool. That would make the liverpool midfield even better. We hear similar rumours about Messi leaving Barca, but now everything looks very serious. Now whole Spanish press is talking about it. I really don't know how to react to it. The main problem in this story seems to be no longer whether Messi is really leaving or not but the question of money.
Messi wants to leave the club for free based on a clause in the contract.
This clause in the contract had to be used by the end of July, otherwise the contract is automatically extended with a compensation clause of 700 million euros.
However, due to the corona crisis, the season was extended until the end of August and Messi claims that the automatic extension of his contract was not legal and asks to leave the club for free.
It seems that Bartomeu will go to court to stop Messi from leaving and that a lawsuit awaits us according to information from Spanish journalist Rafael Hernández

Interesting times ahead for Barca. No Messi, no Suarez, no Vidal, no Pique (he already offered to leave the club). Rakitic also didn't play that much of an important role anymore recently so it wouldn't surprise me if he also leaves.

I always expected a lot of changes in the team but never thought that Messi wouldn't be part of that new Barca team. Now it's looking like the whole team is falling apart. Does Barca has the financial resources to replace everyone that leaves the club equally?! Messi won't be replaceable, not for all the money in the world. And the others ... well, that's going to be a hard task for the management. I doubt that Barca will play an important role in the Champions league or La Liga next season. I do not want to swap places with Koeman now.
