maybe spain will help Barcelona to make messi stay. they don't want to lose their income from messi's tax, after they lost it from ronaldo. I think the government will not interfere about of transferring players, even though it is a source of state/city government revenue, because of the player's tax payments. players have the exclusive right to determine their future at a club. The clause to end his career in Barcelona next season is a decision by the player, the Spanish government and the Spanish football organization also have no right to prohibit Messi from deciding this.

according to his interview with catalan radio a year ago, he said that he considered leaving Barcelona after the tax problem. it's like he wants to leave spain, but not Barcelona (at that moment). he was the first top player to be targeted by spanish tax authorities. spanish tax authorities might not explicitly interfere the current situation between Barcelona and messi. but they can implicitly do something like being "soft" to messi with his tax .

Aguero removes "10" from his Instagram page. from @KunAguero10 to @KunAguero. is this the same thing as Juan Cuadrado who gave Ronaldo his number 7? lol
AFAIK he did it months ago should be not a recent thing. Allan to Everton almost official from Napoli. Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1299746782889603075

I think there shouldnt be any problem for Messi tranfer deal cause I read that the Man City are planning to implement a "Messi tax" procedure on Messi transfer deal which I believe was purposed to settle Messi tax problem. Correct guys if I'm wrong here. I also read that Messi would also become an ambassador for the City Football Group which mean the deal will push through sooner or later.

Is Juventus a retirement home Messi & Ronaldo (5 years ago) in the same team would be a sight to behold. The massive wages & due to their ages low sell on fees mean it probably isn’t a good financial decision for Juve. well, Ronaldo scored 37 goals this year, is like 30 or more years than one player scored so much with Juventus. I think he is in the 3rd spot in the all-time top scorer for Juventus. Besides that In these 2 years, everything is changed, the only 3 over 30yo players are CR7 Bonucci and Cuadrado, the rest are young players or bench players. Totally agree, these younger lads playing for the old lady might have not been playing because back then thanks to the Italian play style of using older guys probably because of experience...but things have changed,so not correct to say Juventus is a retirement home!

if it's true that Man City are planning to implement a "Messi tax", the tax problem must be very mind-consuming for him all this time. then, one of his biggest consideration to leave Barcelona is because of this tax UPDATE: Guardiola has been spotted in barcelona. source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/12531146/messi-transfer-guardiola-pictured-barcelona-city-quarantine/

Regarding Messi's tax problem, Manchester City will definitely be resolved if it is true that Messi moves to Manchester City. We'll just wait for a few days there will definitely be official news regarding this matter.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, chairman of the FC Bayern München board, just gave an interview to the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag and announced that Thiago is looking for a new club and that the FC Bayern is expecting an offer from another club within the next days. Rummenigge hasn't announced any names yet, but I am pretty sure he was talking about FC Liverpool. Pretty sad IMHO since I was still hoping that Thiago might stay at FC Bayern, but if a almost 30 year-old player wants to try something new after seven years and many titles, so be it. Farewell Thiago! The FC Bayern family will miss you! Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on Thiago: "We are expecting an offer from another club in the next few days. He told us that at the end of his career, he would like to try something new" [@WELTAMSONNTAG] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1299981780104216576

I did hear about the payout which needed is being done to whichever team he went to & Manchester city seems to be the only club who has the suitability to be able to pay off this $627million pounds to get him to their club. This amount is equal to the entire team's salary because then they would need to pay whatever it is he is demanding for his salary to be as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPpifBtyJzUskysports of the transfer fees from 2 days agoIt does look like he is going to Manchester city for certain because of Pep. As I mentioned back when they lost that monumental match where it seems to start the wheels turning for a potential transfer to happen. Messi needs to get out of this club now. Go to pep to get out before your not able to play anymore.Look at these clowns. It looks like he missed his feeding of blood tonight. Didn't get a bite. This video seems to have it all laid out since the moving of the number 10 in city's lineup of jersey numbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hA6wlGnoC8This lad seems to have the latest news of what the run down is currently on the situation. With messi's father going to meet up with Manchester city executives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0WZpG9-ff8

I respect his decision, the club should to do as well. Yup, it's just matter of time Messi moves to Manchester City.

Yep, every player has the right to move or stay. As Messi seems to feel better moving than staying in Barcelona, everyone must respect his decision. We cannot blame that Messi leaves the team when Barcelona is in crisis. It is not the mistake made by Messi, he has done everything with his best. Let him go if he really wants to move. Man. City is the right place to go, he will be an important player there. Moreover, he will cooperate with Pep Guardiola again. It is a perfect plan.

Youre right but it seems hard for the club to let him go because Messi is already like a family to the club and I think hell still play for the club until is deal with Man City is total complete since his €700 million release clause is still accurate.

Too bad for Ajax but I think for Dony it's a good choice. I think he would play lot more at MU then in Real Madrid. Let's hope for Ajax they can keep Tagliafico and Onana.

Van de Beek was to sign to Real Madrid, i think, last season. I wonder if he made the right decision by joining Manchester Utd as there are many clubs that are interested in him. Also, Tagliafico is said to leave Ajax possibly he is going to join Chelsea... Let's see.

I really liked van de Beek in Ajax's run to the CL semis last year. He really is an interesting player but I feel that he won't really fit in that United midfield. I wonder how they plan to put Pogba, Fernandes and van de Beek together - Pogba and van de Beek behind Fernandes? Doesn't really breathe defensive stability, they all prefer the same zones and neither is a tempo dictator.
Maybe they will find a way for it to work but it's not a player I'd target for Man Utd.
