Messi’s going nowhere, we’ve seen this before with him. I’ll be shocked if he leaves Barca this summer.
What makes you so sure? People said exactly the same about Christiano Ronaldo. That he won't leave Real and is only pressuring them into giving him a better contract. We all know how it ended. And the situation in Barcelona this year is different. Barca not only didn't won a title last season, they got kicked out of the UCL in a historical embarrassment. The team is full of relatively old players or players that didn't meet the expectations the club had for them. The process of a complete restructuring of the team has started. Both on the bench and in the decision-making positions there have been changes already. And with Bartomeu exactly that person stayed with whom Messi already had his problems with in the past. All these points make Barca unpredictable and not really the first contender for any title next season. Rebuilding the team and club takes time and having success again (the way Barca is used to have) might also take time. What if Messi don't wanna take this time? He's 33 years now. I could understand that he sees better chances for the Champions League title in the coming years when playing for Man City or PSG.

Messi want to leave Barcelona, actually It is the perfect decision for his career. Barcelona just ended a year without gaining any title, the team is so mismatched now. it will take a long time for them to stabilize. I doubt if Barcelona can win any titles next year. You know, Messi is now 33 years old. The day of his retirement is approaching, he will retire in a few years. now he wants to win the UCL title and Balloon D. which will take him to the list of legend in history. so that, this is the high time for leaving Barcelona and go for Manchester City.

Arsenal officially announced the transfer of Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille. The Gunners beat a number of clubs that monitor Gabriel, including Manchester United. MU lost to get this player. surely the arsenal will surprise the English league with this new weapon.

I am glad he is back in Sevilla. He met his wife there and I am sure they will be more than happy with life in the city. I just hope he still has few outstanding seasons in his legs. He should have more than enough incentive to do well in the club and city that lunched his career. I am looking forward to seeing him enjoy football once more. In Barca he was relegated to sweep behind Messi and cover all those gaping holes in defense, here he should have a more attacking role with less defensive duties.
I really dislike Sevilla as a club but this is a great deal for Rakitić. They are a decent team that somehow always manages to claim a trophy here or there and they miss a player like him. He will fit well in that team and be able to play a bit of a more natural role than the one he played at Barcelona recently. A good deal for all sides and I'm happy to see him return there.

He could definitely be a great option for a PL team. It depends how much he’d cost & what wages he wants. He’d be perfect for Liverpool to rotate with their attacking trio. I think because of age Suarez can not play 90 minutes x 50+ games per season but he could for sure be a great option for Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Man Utd, come to think of it most PL teams.

Even though he's grown up now, Suarez remains a very strong striker, but in my opinion he would struggle to find space in Juventus, and the Italian league is quite defensive. Just see what Juventus strikers have and who often stays on the bench! Higuain and duglas costa certainly aren't poor players

€1.5 million? Seriously? Yeah, he is 32 years old and his best time in past already, but 1.5 million for transfer is something ridiculous. He is still worth way more. Sevilla got still decent player almost without spending money. Rakitic was great in 2 first seasons, but then Barca had to sell him 1-2 years ago and get way more than got now. Interesting for what peanuts they will sell Suarez. Wouldn't be surprised if it will be about €10 millions..

Looks like arsenal is stepping up their game. It's beginning to look like they have a plan to contest for the premier league title 2020/2021. I'm not surprised. Arsenal has been closely trailing Chelsea with multiple signings since the transfer window opened. I expect arsenal to get more signings (between 2-3) before the transfer market comes to end. Arsenal is definitely one of the few teams I would be looking forward to.

if you know PL a little better, then you need to know that Liverpool players don't go to Manchester United and vice versa. there is too much rivalry for something like that. As you say, he is too old and it's probably will be too hard for him to play for some of the top teams in PL. It is much more realistic to go into Serie A, he could come to any top club there.

Luis Suárez is still a formidable striker, no one doubt about it. We can see in the match of Barcelona, sometimes he can have a bigger role in the attacking line than other players. I don't try to state Messi has a lower role, but in the fact Suárez is the key player to score in Barca attacking line. Without Suárez, I see that sometimes Barca has difficulties to score. It is a clear sign/proof that Suárez is still a great striker who has a big role even he is growing old already.

As an Arsenal fan, I'm happy with the news of Gabriel Magalhaes joining Arsenal, this makes Arsenal serious for the 2020/2021 season. Despite the fact that Chelsea looks the most active in bringing in new players, this does not guarantee that Chelsea can win the premier league. Because sometimes new players need adaptation first. I hope Arsenal can bring in the Coutinho for the next, because Arsenal desperately need a playmaker to replace Mesut Ozil.

So far I like how Arsenal are getting their transfer targets. They are focussing on sector where they are weak i.e defence. Gabriel is a good buy and hope it turns out good for Arsenal this season. I think right now Ceballos is a good playmaker and have been really playing well. Arsenal are also looking for extend his contract as well. It would be great if Arsenal takes a step further than loan to get him on permanent basis.

It's still very good deal for Barcelona because they don't need to pay now his very high yearly salary and also Barcelona can get some bonus money from this transfer in the future. Barcelona have very serious finamcial problems and can't afford to have to many high paid players now.

^^ really, 1.5 million is not a good deal. Barcelona might have financial problems but 1.5 millions will not save them. And don't forget the price that they bought him in the first place.

It is not 1,5 millions. It is 1,5 mil upfront and additional 9 million in clauses. Most of the clauses will be met so it's maybe like a 7 mil deal.
Agreed that it still does not represent Rakitić's true value, but Barcelona is doing a rebuilding and Rakitić has a high salary which they want to get rid of. Same thing as Suarez, he will probably leave for a small sum too but they will save 10+ millions on his salary alone.
