Buffon must be like 40 years old now? He should go to play in a lesser league that pays mega money in wages like MLS or China. Surely he can’t still be world class at his age, much better to pick up a pension in China or MLS.
40? in no way. He is going for 44 and I must say that in any case in the few games he played in these two years he still made some level saves. Obviously he hardly ever plays but when he was called to take the place of the goalkeeper he was always in good shape. He could easily play in a minor league but perhaps also in top-five leagues in a low-level team, perhaps one that has been newly promoted. We will see, even if in any case I believe that in the not too distant future he will return again to Juventus with a managerial role I really can't understand what is he doing. One of the best goalkeepers ever, he has proven his quality long ago. Why he needs to sit on benches in his 44 years of life. What? Does he need more money? I am pretty sure that he can find a job at Juventus as a trainer or whatever. btw coinlocket$, I remember you with your almost daily update about Pogba's moving back to Juventus. Is it a forgotten story? I did not hear any rumours about a possible Pogba transfer in Italy. And then I said it was all fabricated rumours even now Manchester United had much more potential. How is everything changed... I guess Pogba will going nowhere from ManU. no one will offer him approximate terms. The same situation is with Ronaldo, his choice is very narrow, he became a burden to Juventus.

All transfer market news regarding Juventus died with the news of the launch and closure of the super league. At this point, nothing is known about anyone, this is a delicate situation. The only recent rumors were for Donnarumma. As for Buffon, he does it because he has it in his blood and probably because he can't say: just stop.

The end of the season is approaching and we are starting to get some official news. This time it is an exit from the Juventus formation and it is the second time. Buffon will leave Juventus at the end of the season for the second time after the 2-years ago season with PSG. Buffon would like to play but if he doesn't find a team he will stop for good.
It's official and it's getting out in the papers.
I've heard some news before like he may go to Milan. But I guess he won't be the main goalkeeper of course even if Donnarumma leaves. Buffon is 43-year-old now. This man is really an interesting and wonderful goalkeeper. He is still playing despite his age.

Salah to PSG would be something that Liverpool would consider for sure.~~~Selling him now would be a smart move.
Why? I don't think it is a good idea to sell Salah. I don't see any problem with him, Liverpool has no problem with its attacking line. Do you understand the problem in Liverpool during this season? It is about the defensive line and midfield line, so it is not necessary to change its attacking line. They need their defenders to come back again from injury and need some changes in midfielders to make the team more solidly and effective in attacking and defending. So, Liverpool is better to focus on this problem than thinking about selling Salah.

The main reason for their poor performance this season is their weak defense. It is a wise decision to sell salah to PSG. This money they will be able to spend to strengthen the midfield and defense. They need a few skilled defenders.

They need a few skilled defenders. It would be a big mistake if Liverpool release Mohamed Salah to another team, because Salah has contributed greatly to Liverpool since 2017. If Liverpool want to reduce the number of attackers that Liverpool have, they can sell Roberto Firmino, whose performances have decreased this season. But rather than focus on improving the front line, Liverpool should improve the midfield and back line which this season is very fragile.

Jerome Boateng (bayern munich) has several options to play for another club next season... But Spurs and MLS are not the only interested parties. On Tuesday, Bild confirmed a report by France Football that Boateng's former coach Niko Kovac is interested in bringing the defender to AS Monaco. Kovac hopes that Boateng could add some depth and experience to a youthful defense that is set to lose Benoît Badiashile this summer. Boateng is expected to ask for a three-year contract that is significantly below his €12 million Bayern Munich salary. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jerome-boateng-linked-with-monaco-and-tottenham-mls-another-option-/view/news/384980Jerome Boateng could be a good choice for Monaco. He could definitely help their defense line to be strengthened more. Boateng is 32 years old now and it is still a good age for a defender. It will be interesting to see if boateng really is considering to go to monaco and kovac next season. I always thought that the relationship between the players and nico kovac was pretty bad during the end of his time at bayern munich. So i don't really think that boateng is so eager to go to monaco. I also read that Chelsea and Juventus are interested in Boateng which i think is more likely because he is still one of the best defenders in the world when he is fit and with 32 he is not even that old so he can still help any team in the world with his experience and his great long passes.

Nobody had him on the list when the news were that PSG signed another goalkeeper, but obviously his time had to come. He still knows how to do his job, but would you want to see him in a final between two teams on the very highest level and he makes two critical mistakes and loses the game? I am sad for him that he didn't win the CL title as he is one of the players who really really deserved it.

I understand, of course. This season the problem is defence and not Salah. Salah was never the problem, Salah is a top player and our best goalscorer. However, Liverpool is in a situation where they need to sell a top player to get some fresh blood into the club. Salah, Firmino and Mane are getting harder to sell and Liverpool is not like United or Real Madrid and cannot simply buy Sancho. Liverpool must not risk the whole trio getting to 30+ years of age and entering the last year of their contract - which will happen in 2022. Salah will be easiest to sell and will generate the most money and Liverpool simply has to do it if the offer is good - that's the only way how we remain competitive longterm.

Is it really a problem? From here in Italy we have the idea of "English teams have no money problem and they can do what they want". But I don't think is truly the reality or the big six weren't join the Superleague 2 weeks ago. Where is the truth?

It is, the problem are the contracts. If you want to keep players, you have to give them big deals and when the contracts of your complete front 3 are expiring at the same time you can either give all of them new and big contracts that will keep them at a club aged 32 even if their performances drastically drop (because you will simply not be able to sell them due to no interest from other teams to match their salaries and because these players will not take paycuts to play elsewhere), you can risk losing them for nothing or you can sell them on time. Selling Salah in this window would be good business for Liverpool, even if it means losing your best player. All teams have to balance like this, even the wealthiest which Liverpool still isn't. Example - Real is not keeping Ramos anymore and will probably have to sell Benzema in order to try for Mbappe.

As far as I know, Arsenal are also interested in him. It looks like we are going to witness a nice competition between these teams to sign him. And I see Arsenal having the lowest chance to make it.

And Madrid too as reported by FRomano but he has denied all those offers and is focusing on continuing with Rennes as it seems. So there won't be any competition as it seems for now unless he change his mind. But seriously those are big clubs and he is still 18 so that's some hugh opportunity right there well.

Hansi Flick's resign from Bayern Munich because want to be Germany manager on EURO and most excited event maybe world cup, but why have an issues with Barcelona want to make him as coach? I think Barcelona coach right now Ronald Koeman is not wrong just happen with Barcelona management is not smart and want to buy player based on coach want.

Naturally, if teams like Muchen, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Arsenal also want Camavinga to join their team, apart from being young, Camavinga also has sufficient skills to defend against opposing players, I saw some matches played by Camavinga really It was amazing when he was able to get the ball away from the opponent, making blocks and interceptions which was quite successful, but I think it is too risky for him to play at a big club that really only prioritizes him as a substitute player and for now I think Rennais is a team that right because he shows and develops his abilities.

I doubt that bayern is really interested in camavinga. FC bayern president herbert hainer said a few days ago that bayern is not planning to make any more big transfers before the next season. They already signed upamecano for more than 40 M€ and their new coach nagelsmann did cost them also more than 20M€. Camavingas market value is 60M€ so i doubt that he can leave stade rennes for a sum that is below 40M€ and that would be another big transfer for bayern. Of course, it could also be a tactic by Bayern and in the end they still make big transfers.
