CR7 has a very good relationship with the club and even love's the club, he is considered a legend after winning three premier League, the champions League, the FA cup and others under Sir Alex. If there's any club he will love to return to in England, it is definitely Manchester United, where he is loved the most. It will be very awkward and weird to see CR7 in another English team jersey. Right now i feel CR7 is not just playing for money, and if his career is ending, he definitely will want to spend his last years in football for a club that loves him and where he is comfortable.

This season is going to be on fire definitely, i only pity arsenal.

Wow just saw the news and what a move from Manchester United in grabbing the forward who is on verge of leaving Juventus. Offer is quite good and what Juventus expects to receive in order to let Cristiano Ronaldo go. Also there is quite a turn in odds from City's 1/5 to now 33 and Ronaldo to United is going on @1/20 according to oddschecker. That would be quite a return and will be interesting to see who is gonna have less playing time in their squad in forward.

That he now may join manchester united instead of manchester city is really a turn of events here. I watched a transfer update show on the sports news channel a few hours ago and back then they said it is almost certain that Ronaldo will join manchester city, because his agent is already in Paris to talk with the officials of ManCity. I guess we have to wait for the first official statement from the club where he is moving to, to be really sure where he will play in the coming season. For me it would be weird if he would play for Pep Guardiola now as Pep was always the biggest fan and supporter of Ronaldos greatest Rival, Lionel Messi.

There are always unexpected changes after Ronaldo left Juventus training early and this is still being reported to Manchester city but I was surprised after Manchester United were also competing to get him while Mancity could only just give up, did Pep really not want Ronaldo?
To be honest, this will indeed be a beautiful memory to repeat again because the legend was at the beginning of the peak of his career, now there are rumors that he is ready to go there, hopefully this is indeed a good hope where CR7 can appear again in the EPL.

Now this makes much better sense.  I can’t say that I’m not disappointed as a City fan but a part of me really was asking ‘why City?’. Ronaldo has always been loyal to United and has always said he’ll return.  Damn...  If only City had anticipated Messi’s situation at Barca, Pep would’ve had him on a free transfer and the EPL would’ve been a lot better.

It is not that surprising I would say. It was a rumor for a while that it is a possibility that Ronaldo is going to finish his top level career at the club where it really started, and it really started in Manchester United. I am certain that Ferguson had something to say here as well. Ronaldo once called him a father and he called Ronaldo his son, so i guess they talked a lot and that was what ultimately did the deal.
