Finally, we have seen a move from Dortmund for their defense. They have officially signed Niklas Süle and it is a free transfer which is another great news for them. As Bayern Munich didn't extend his contract, he had six months left on his contract and was open to contract offers from other teams. Dortmund were the fastest club to do so. They have signed a 4-year deal with him. Süle was speculated to join some other teams in different leagues too but he is staying in the Bundesliga.

This is a good decision for Dortmund. They needed experienced defenders. They are behind Bayern Munich in the title fight only because of their weak defense. They may have scored a lot of goals, but they have conceded a lot of goals due to weak defense. They have conceded 36 goals in 21 matches. But now it remains to be seen how Niklas Süle will perform with the Dortmund team. Hopefully he will be able to adapt to the team very quickly.

Honestly? Haaland scores so much, other amazing offensive players scores so much and at the same game Dortmund defence gets scored all the time. I have seen it too many times, it has been a thing for a while now and not just this season neither. Like last season they still lost a lot of games or got a draw just because their defence sucked big time. I have to guess that there is a good case to be made about how they could get some defensive midfielders or even more athletic backs so they could go up and come back.

But, no matter what they decide, the defence is the number one priority for them. If they just agreed to sell Haaland, even if for 200 million which I am sure someone would pay, then they could use that to buy 4 AMAZING players, 50 million each, get 1-2 defenders and another striker and anything else you want, the solution is so obvious.

Calciomercato says that Manchester United also have joined the race to sign the 22-year-old Juventus defender de Ligt now. Bayern Munich and Barcelona are interested in signing him too. His current value is €65m and he has a contract running until June 2024. In this case, I think that Juventus wouldn't like to sell him easily. Their demand would be a lot of money for sure. Still a decent deal if they can get Sule for free, some time has to pay a hefty sum just to get back their players and United was one of the example for that. Honestly its quite weird that he goes back to Dortmund because he is only 26, one of a top rated defender and Chelsea wants to sign him so that means he has the potential to play in EPL yet he wants to go back to Dortmund. Some time ago there had been news about after they completed the Diaz transfer they are now planning to cut spending by selling several players who were not included in Klopp's plans, while the ones that are currently widely used are Origi, Nat Phillips and Minamino.

Actually, I see only Haaland to be worth replacing Firmino these days. I really love to watch Vlahovic's great performance too but Juventus have already signed him. Real Madrid hates oldies, I fear he will be abandoned after a year or two there or once they don't need him. Besides, Real has Benzema who is striking currently, the young V.Junior and probably Mbappe coming soon... Why they would add another forward? If I am footballer I will want to play for Real Madrid, players wanting to play for Real Madrid doesn’t surprise me.
