Yep. Raphinha price is expensive, it isn't an ideal player to buy. It should be better if Barcelona extends Dembele's contract. Barcelona doesn't need to pay transfer fees, they only need to focus on negotiating the salary. Dembele is also familiar with Barcelona play style, so he doesn't need to think about adaptation. the facts are not on Barcelona's side at all, there is very little chance that De Jong will stay. Barcelona is on the verge of bankruptcy and they don't have money to pay expensive players. Manchester United are doing all they can to finalize the Frenkie de Jong deal for themselves. They agreed upon the transfer fee as far as I know and they were discussing the add-ons after that. They might really be close to happy ending now. Laporta said before that Frenkie de Jong was still happy to be part of the team. However he doesn't seem like he is opposing to this transfer too. Barcelona are going to have much work to do in case they sell him. On the other hand this transfer is going to help them raise funds significantly too of course.

This Frankie de Jong deal has dragged on for sooo longggg and I don't this transfer will be happening,  whatever happened at Manchester that such deals take this long... its either the scouts aren't doing a good job or it's the fans that keep speculating on such transfers which aren't anywhere from being signed.
