Now is the time for him to show a slick performance. Choupo-Moting was always in the shadows when Lewandowski was around and earlier in the season he was also in the shadows of Mane but now it's a little different.
Mane is more prioritized in his position so there is no reason Choupo-Moting is now not performing well.

I for one do not also know when N'golo Kante will return to the field for Chelsea, prolly after the WC, but i don't see that as being too big a problem for Chelsea, footballers are bound to injure, it is part of the game, and in the period in which they are on the treatment table, the club basically have to wait for them to get well, and that is what i expect Chelsea to do in N'golo's situation and not to sell him off, i know it is not concrete news yet that Chelsea are willing to sell him in January, and tbh i don't expect it to be true.

Currently there are several clubs ready to hunt for this player and among them are the 2 big Serie A clubs namely Juventus and Inter.
Indeed, in this case Kante is most likely to leave because regardless of anything it is now difficult for him to maintain his tenure at Chelsea especially this season he hasn't even really contributed.
But in this case Chelsea are still holding the 31 year old player at a price of 18 million which is indeed a bit of a burden for Inter and Juventus.
