I think this is a pretty good opportunity for Firminho considering he has rarely been in Liverpool's starting line-up since the arrival of Gakpo and Nunez and has mostly been on the bench this season.

Firmino is really underrated striker, he's actually show better performance than Salah, Salah's performance is very bad in this season. Firmino get abandoned by Brazil too since he's not included on the previous World Cup. Liverpool still need him, Gakpo and Nunez are still not that good even though Liverpool sign both of them for high price.

Atletico madrid is not the only team who wants to secure his service. As far as i know that if intermilan and barcelona are also aiming to sign him. I read on the net today a statement by Messi's father and his agent which states that they(father & his agent) are not sure Messi will be returning to Barcelona if he leaves PSG. I'm also not sure what his next move will be because Lionel Messi has not made his intentions known, we just have to wait until he ends his contract with PSG to find out.

According to some news there are three big English Premier League teams monitoring Mason Mount's situation at Chelsea now. These are Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United.

I don't know why these teams are after Mount anyway. Because he doesn't have any impressive performance in this season. Chelsea as a team don't play very convincing though. Maybe these clubs are still believing in Mount to play much better for themselves. He is still a youngster and open to developing his game much more in fact. Chelsea really wants to get Neymar, and it has everything to work out, but first they have to agree about the value.

in my opinion the best team that messi should have gone to after leaving barcelona was manchester city, in city messi would be playing and would win the champions league and premier league, i don't know to what extent city and its coach they would be interested in messi, but if city could have messi, they would already have good conditions to win the champions league, PSG is a broken team, they need a great coach to organize the team, I don't see PSG with any chance of win the champions league

Would Qatar Sports Investments' ownership of PSG be an issue?


There is a UEFA rule that two clubs with the same owner cannot play in the same European competition. So if Man United and PSG were both owned by Qatari Sports Investments, then they cannot play against each other in the Champions League.

But QSI will not be buying Manchester United, it will be another set of investors linked to the Qatari royal family who are interested in buying the Premier League club.

There are also ways around that UEFA rule - we have seen RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig play in the Champions League regularly and they are both owned by Red Bull. The way around that is you have to prove that the club is not owned by the same people and management structure.

It also helps that the president of PSG is on the UEFA Executive Committee. He will have taken soundings on what is and is not possible.

Furthermore, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is in a similar situation to PSG in the fact his INEOS group own Nice, so there may be a conflict of interest if the Ligue 1 club and Manchester United were to be in the same European competition, if he were to own both clubs.

in my opinion manchester united has to choose a guy who doesn't own or is involved with another club and who is willing to make the club stronger, but let the coach deal with players and not be influencing the hiring of players, why are we watching chelsea

The French press was betting that the Brazilian Neymar would go to a "second tier" team, but I believe that most here are surprised to learn that Chelsea are willing to pay very well to have this player in their squad. Not bad for the most expensive player in football history to date. But is Neymar still worth so much?

I consider his age is too old. There may be a several years remaining for him to continue his career in the professional football. It must be less than €50m. The problem is his salary is high when neymar was playing on PSG. I don't even think todd will be trying to give the same salary for him(neymar)

Speaking of numbers... Chelsea will pay (at least they are willing to do so, nothing is certain yet) 60 million euros for Neymar who is now 31 years old ("old" player). It's still 4 times less than the €222m PSG paid in 2017, but it looks like the Parisian club is quite happy with that amount.
Arsenal were paying "only" €50m, so they ended up having their offer waived.

Problem for Chelsea right now seems not from the players but most realistic with manager experience, have many star players and can't managed well for consistency performance I think should be improvement for Graham Potter on the next match.

The problem with Chelsea is more about management than team depth. I do not think they really need Neymar when they already have Mykhailo Mudryk who we know is sometimes addressed as the "Ukrainian Neymar" because of his similar playing style with Neymar. Even if they go ahead to get Neymar, it will not magically solve all the problem the team has presently. They need a new and more experienced coach that can manage these talents they have and wish to add, or be prepared to risk more games losing and disappointing the fans even with the many quality players they have on the field by giving Graham Potter more time to catch up. They do not need Neymar, they need to give this players that they just signed time to mature into the new team every one expects of them.

It is also important to bring in additions that will improve the team especially in areas where the team is slacking. This current Chelsea team is equipped with good and talented players and needs a good manager to groom and utilitize these players to reach their full potentials for the club. I won't argue bringing Neymar isn't good but there must be a good plan and it should be for the betterment of the team not just reckless spending because the money is there.

As far as I know, that is correct, and as far as I know, PSG has offered Messi an extension of his contract, however, he has not accepted the offer. Not sure what's the reason for this but maybe due to his age, PSG couldn't offer him enough money and that's why he rejected the agreement. Furthermore, he might decide to leave this team and join another team outside of Europe, such as the Asian and American teams, to earn some more money, just like Ronal did this year at the end of his career when he left this team.

As we know, that Pep Guardiola has a close relationship with one of his former players, namely Messi. Messi, always associated with one of these Premier League clubs. but I'm not really sure, that Messi can join The Citizens. because, there are many factors that make me not sure that City will be interested in signing Messi but suppose that's true, will Messi position Pep as a playmaker, or.
