Hopefully Chelsea can get a coach who can lead them in a better direction. This season they have sacked coaches twice and that is something bad because it proves that they have not appointed the right coach. @darewaller, It was certainly a little too late for this season. I don't think they are going to make any type of comeback, at least not this season. The situation which Chelsea is in right now is of course not a good one at all. They are not going to finish even in the top six in my opinion. They are currently in the 11th position. That is certainly not good at all for a club like Chelsea. It will be a really good result for them if they can somehow finish in the top six positions in my opinion.

But of course, I don't believe they will actually be able to do that. They should concentrate on getting ready for the next season. Personally don't think they should aim too much ahead of themselves. Should be aiming for the top four going into the next season.

Even I, who am not a Chelsea fan, am pleased with this sacking, because it's been too long for Chelsea to continue to keep him at Stamford Bridge and I think Potter should be comfortable with this sacking decision because he is the person most responsible for the bad results. chelsea achieved so far. Maybe for candidates, most rumors still link Nagelsmann as a substitute for Potter, but I don't think Nagelsmann also wants to make a hasty decision if Chelsea's offer becomes available.

Josko Gvardiol had a good performance in the world cup and got all the attention (If we ignore the difficult moments he had against Messi :d). I think if he chooses the Spanish league first in terms of his career and development, he will make a more accurate decision. Despite his young age, he is a very good defender but England is really a tougher and more difficult league. same here, i'm not a Chelsea fan and i was waiting for the change to happen, he got his chance with a decent team and they signed a lot of good players and spent a lot, so the eyes and fingers will point at the coach, if Nagelsmann will take the job, i think he can make things better, it will be easy for him too because a small improvement will be noticed
