Maybe we have previously heard about rumors that Barcelona are interested in bringing Aubameyang back to Camp Nou this summer. But it's not just Aubameyang who is being targeted by Barcelona, but there are two other players from Chelsea who are now starting to be eyed by Barcelona, namely Kante and also César Azpilicueta. I just can't understand how Barcelona is going to hire these two players if they have an unstable financial situation and they cannot afford the salary they have to pay for some players like Gavi. I mean the first priority for the team should be keeping the players they have, on the other hand, if they want to hire Messi they will have an even harder financial situation.

With the current conditions, I am actually quite doubtful about the future of Gavi, who is indeed like being tossed around at this time, especially it can be said that his current contract is almost exhausted because their conditions in the previous contract extension were considered canceled and indeed Gavi's current contract is only until June.

As for the purchase of more players, this is clearly becoming a bit troublesome I think because of course with that in their current condition which needs fresh funds around 200 million to balance their books there must obviously be some players released. Even though there are already a few on the list such as Busquet and Alba who don't want to extend their contracts but obviously there must be a few more players sacrificed. But currently there are already some big names that they will bring in without thinking about the current financial condition.

I guess that having current players sold and new players hired are different finances somehow. I have absolutely zero idea how that works, but if you sell a player for like 80 million, but then hire players for 10-10 each for 20 million, that is somehow better than having 20 million paid to a single guy? After all you are making a bank on the transfer, so you should be just negative 20 million if you keep gavi, but you would be profiting 60 million if you sell him for 80 and get 2 other players for 10 each. That math checks out but to be fair that is not going to really change anything financially all that much since it will most likely not be a front up payment. But in the end, if this works for them, then it works for them, older players but at the end of the day its not going to cause too much improvement long term, Gavi could have been good long term, so this is saving short term for a worse long term yet again.

I bet some players might be willing to take some pay cut if they can play for Barcelona and also considering that both of those two are currently having hard time to start as regular lineup then I dont think this is an impossible move to happen

They will probably try to make a new contract when the current contract is finished but as you said, it is a little difficult with the conditions they need big funds.
Not to mention that currently there is some news about Messi which is sure to more or less disrupt their financial condition if this really happens in the end.
The best thing is indeed to add a few players but on the other hand we also have to be aware of their current condition which still doesn't allow for that.

Whatever happened to Aubameyang, I think he needs a club that will appreciate his services, and this shouldn't be any top tier club as their demands will be so high for him to meet them ,maybe a club like Leicester if they survive the cut will be the perfect fit anything else will just draw him closer to retirement.

I still have faith in Aubu; he was performing admirably under Tuchel before his dismissal caused the entire team to fall apart. Letting Aubu go would be another terrible decision given that the team currently lacks a natural striker. Aubu is a good finisher with pace; what he needs is a coach who has plans for him and who can make the midfield work. I just hope that whoever the new manager is includes Aubu in their plans for the coming season. He can still play top football for two years,  Xavi wants him back, but the decision will be made by the new manager. The only good successor if they decide to let him go would be Osimehn, but I doubt he would leave Napoli for a team without a UEFA competition next season.

I don't know what the owners are doing right now, but he seems to be the only viable option at the moment. He is not a serial winner, but he does know how to manage a young team and play good attacking football. At PSG, he struggled to handle the team's bigger players, but no coach has ever succeeded there. He is not my choice, but he is more capable and English league-tested than all the other options right now.

Messi is an amazing player and he proved it in Argentina and Barcelona but recently he cannot have a good performance in PSG and that's all because of not having to focus and not having a good atmosphere in the team, I think Messi will have a much better performance after the returns to Barcelona where the fans love him and he will have the respect he couldn't have in PSG.

I have to admit that I also doubted his abilities at this stage of his career but he has proved me wrong in the just concluded world cup where he led his team to a successful outing with the right players and the right mentality something that PSG are lacking, the right mentality, I don’t think it’s not fair to put all the blame on Messi for the poor performances of the team. I don't even know why they are putting the blame on Messi like he is the only player on the pitch just the same way Ronaldo was carrying the cross for Manchester United's failure do well in the early parts of the season. I think Messi is doing well at PSG even if he is not at his best but his contributions show that he is crucial to the team's successes.

Am in doubt if Messi will return to BARCELONA. PSG fans may not like him that much which will somehow  affects his performances in PSG, not felling loved by PSG fans can make him leave the club. And his performances will never be the same as when he was in Barca. He was so much loved and his performances were excellent.
But PSG fans are suppose to understand that he ia not getting younger anymore, the strength he had while in Barcelona has reduced to some point so they should just accept it the way it is. His presence alone is a huge positive different in the team

I don't feel that in this case PSG doesn't respect Messi because regardless of any condition he is indeed one of the players who is made like a golden boy there too.
His performance is also still quite decent, it's just that there are still many people who expect too much about better conditions even though it is certain that with this age condition it is a bit difficult to do and the current top assists are actually proof that Messi's performance is very good there.

It may be true but Barcelona already has many good players, Barcelona shouldn't rely on Messi again. Barcelona is better to focus on young players. Young players will have a longer future, so it can guarantee for club future. While Messi is already 35 years old, he won't have a long time to play as a professional player. Also, Barcelona still has a financial problem, they may not be in an ideal condition to pay Messi's salary. Another consideration is no guarantee that Messi will play as expected when he returns to Barcelona. He may fail as C. PSG surely have a big respect to Messi. They were on the line right away to sign Messi after seeing him as free agent. I think barcelona main option in the next window of the transfer season will let go of some of their players to balance their expenses in paying players wages. Like Franck Kessie and there are several more names that will be released by Barcelona in the upcoming transfer window. If I am not mistaken the article you linked here is almost 1 month old. I think we know that first of all a lot can change within 1 month and second, if this was already a done deal in any way, it would have been leaked to the public already. I think nothing is safe for now and it is part of the game to drop some info here and there in order to also put pressure on competitors who want to join the negotiations and bids for a player.

I still have doubts whether Messi will go back to Barcelona because he would have to drastically cut down his salary. If it didn't work out to pay Messi two years ago, why would it work out now? What has changed in Barcelona since then? Did they cut costs that much? Does Messi think the team is currently strong enough to win the Champions League or would he want Barca to sign more players and are they even able to? I think there are still a lot of open questions that need to be answered first. But yes I agree that there is a chance we are going to see Messi in the Barcelona jersey again.

Barcelona had no money to pay messi with his previous salary. I think that so many sources have been reporting how much will be received by messi. Messi may have the same wages as lewandowski which is having the higest wages in the club right now.
barcelona even needs to sell a lot of players first before it will be able to recruit messi.
