If I am not mistaken the article you linked here is almost 1 month old. I think we know that first of all a lot can change within 1 month and second, if this was already a done deal in any way, it would have been leaked to the public already. I think nothing is safe for now and it is part of the game to drop some info here and there in order to also put pressure on competitors who want to join the negotiations and bids for a player.

Whatever happened to Aubameyang, I think he needs a club that will appreciate his services, and this shouldn't be any top tier club as their demands will be so high for him to meet them ,maybe a club like Leicester if they survive the cut will be the perfect fit anything else will just draw him closer to retirement.

I do know that. I just mention it caused by it's still related to what already discussed before. The fact that if there was no confirmation about messi changes his mind anymore even after that a month has passed. The recent news if messi becomes even closer again to the barcelona but he shall wait for the barcelona to restructure its financial condition by selling so many players.
