I don't understand why they have to hire Xabi Alonso. Just because Xabi Alonso had a good performance in Leverkusen during this season recently won't be a good reason to say Xabi Alonso is a good coach for Leverkusen, he is not experienced and he doesn't have experience as a coach in the premier league. Managements were consistently making blunders. It started from todd was sacking so many staff of managements under tuchel when he was just acquiring chelsea. that was triggering instability in the club started with some professional staff in the chelsea management were leaving from the club.
Then, todd signed Potter as a new coach and todd brought all of Potter's staff from Brighton to Chelsea. that was just moving the problem from the brighton to the chelsea. So many staff that came from brighton were still working on chelsea.
That means potter will never leave from the club until todd will be sacking all of the managements that have evern brought to the club with potter.
Potter has gone but it's staff is still in chelsea and what's the difference? It's very big mistake by chaning the profesional staff with amateur staff that came from brighton.

I also wondered why he was so hard and dishonest about Pochettino. You cannot just degrade Pochettino to the level of nobody. You can say all those to a coach like Lampard, Gerrald etc and not to Pochettino.
The reason why Tottenham has not lifted a trophy is not because of coaches but also the approach of the management.

I think Pochettino is the right alternative for Chelsea at the moment. It's not easy to get the right coach when Chelsea's condition is down. Every world-class coach will certainly consider that the team he coaches must play in European competition, because it concerns his reputation.
