I don't think it is essential to go to Saudi Arabia for a goalkeeper unless he gets a good offer and want to live there. Otherwise joining MLS is not that bad as experience since his contract is not that long. He might later join Saudi Pro League or another Gulf league or even return to France to play in a random Ligue 1 team.

If I were in the place of PSG owner and staff, I would definitely chase for an offer from Real Madrid and negotiate with them a transfer deal with the least damage for PSG.

I agree with you that this is a bad timing for Osimhen to go to Chelsea at this point when Chelsea have become a common club in the premier league. I'm not surprised to see another rumor/issue about Mbappe's possible transfer to Real Madrid. We know Real Madrid is the team that has a big chance to sign Mbappe if he decides to leave PSG because Mbappe ever stated that he has a dream to join Real Madrid since he was a kid. Mbappe is one of the best striker (CF) in the world now, he already proved it in many competitions, including in the world cup champion. So, no doubt if Real Madrid has a big intention to sign him, Real Madrid is in urgent to have a new striker (CF). Also, Mbappe seems very suitable to be the main striker of Real Madrid. He has a play style and skills that fit with Real Madrid tactics.

The rumor is becoming so real looking at the time that is left for Mbappe's contract with PSG,  if the rumors are true then I think it's going to be a good deal for both the player Mbappe and the PSG team since there will be profit for both parties since Mbappe won't leave as a free agent. Yes Real Madrid are in need of a striker but Don Carlo has already made his statement of not making any signing by January. Another rumor and yeah maybe this is the final offer from Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe. As has been revealed, Real Madrid has offered a new contract to Kylian Mbappe which must be answered immediately until the deadline is mid-January. The reason is that as of January 1, he will have six months remaining on his contract and this is an offer so that Kylian Mbappe does not leave as a free agent from PSG.

I think even if Mbappe doesn't want to extend his contract with PSG he should still be able to get a handful of money from this transfer process and for PSG of course it's still profitable than letting him go without making a penny.
