Mourinho took Roma to consecutive European finals and won the club their first ever European title (The UEFA conference league), for a team like Roma, and with the budget and resources they have, i think that is success/achievement IMO. It looks like you're certain that Benzema will join Arsenal. As much as I'd love to see him play in a PL team, I don't think he's going to be the solution that Arteta and his team need. It’s more likely that this is the accumulated result of the whole season, because Roma’s results were weak, but to be honest, the squad is not the strongest and they shouldn’t hope for anything great with it. If this rumor is true, it will make the EPL even more enthusiastic. We will see one of the Ballon D'or winners and also a 5x champions league winner at Arsenal and maybe that will also increase the value of the club. I think if Benzema is interested in joining Arsenal it would be another career advancement because it would also be a new challenge for him to compete in the most competitive league in the world.

I just read rumors regarding Arsenal considering a blockbuster loan for striker number 9, referring to the Teamtalk report. I didn't even think that Benzema was still in great demand even by several top clubs in the Premier League. If I'm not mistaken, Manchester United was initially linked with a loan for the former French international. however, HITC reported that the Red Devils have no intention of signing Benzema this month.
