European players who have many awards and many achievements will be accepted in any league, the Arab league is indeed the final place for several star players because they will get high salaries in the Arab league. Neymar, Benzema are also in the Arab League and they are becoming new stars there. Actually there is nothing wrong, this is just a cycle that will continue. they will continue to be productive players even though they are not in Europe.

Benzema is not a star in the Saudi Professional League. He is 7th in the goal scorer list and he wants to leave the league if that is true. But I don't think he is still a considered a star like he was one when he left Europe. If a FIFA world player comes to a weak league like the Saudi Professional League, I think that the fans expect more from a striker like him than he is doing for Al-Ittihad.

Even the salaries aren't that convincing because I think there should be more to a decision than just the salary. In case of Benzema it was said that he is so happy because he is Muslim, but now they say he is unhappy. He should have known better, but I don't know what's actually true about those stories.

We know he has problems with the club and the fans. Al Ittihad finished as champions last season. But this season they are out of the title race. His Instagram account was heavily criticized by the fans. That's why he wants to leave the Arab League. If he comes back to Europe, I think there will be many good teams who will want to sign him. Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal can't say no to a striker of his quality. However, according to media reports, there is a possibility that he could be transferred to another Arab club.

Both Real Madrid and Chelsea seem to have no serious intention to sign Benzema. There is no big advantage to have him in the squad. Benzema even failed to play well in Saudi, how can expect him to play well in Europe? Real Madrid focuses to sign young strikers, their targets are Mbappe and Osimhen. Meanwhile Chelsea already have Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea also prefers to sign young strikers.

The era of Benzema was over, he is no longer in the prime age. Why he must return to Europe now?  Undecided

He played in Europe and conquered Europe last season so I don’t understand what you mean by Benzema can’t play in Europe. It’s not even up to a year that he left and you are already criticizing him, we all know what Benzema is capable of and even if he is back in Europe he will still be able to perform well.

Real Madrid should rather focus on signing Mbappe than bringing Benzema back, Mbappe will suit them better and will bring lots of opportunities to the club.

Chelsea signing Benzema will not be a bad idea but they should go for a younger player like Osimhen rather than Benzema because of the age difference. Benzema would also be nice option though if they fail to sign Osimhen.

I don't even think Real Madrid will re-sign Benzema to cover their shortcomings up front. If they do that I think they are going against what they are doing at the moment, which is regenerating. They still have time to get younger players than Benzema, I don't doubt Benzema's quality, but my question is how long will he stay at Real Madrid if Real Madrid re-sign him?
I think it's better for them to bring in younger players to be in the squad for longer.  Right now they're also regenerating, so I think it's a good time for them to do that. There are a lot of young players who have great potential, and a lot of them wouldn't turn down an offer to join Real Madrid, as it's one of the biggest teams in Europe.
Real Madrid's goal is to continue to bring in young, talented players as we have seen so far Real Madrid very rarely brings in players who are a little older but always brings in players who are less than 30 years old like now Real Madrid wants to recruit Mbappe who is still young...
Real Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in Europe, has a high reputation and has had a lot of success, so to bring in players, Real Madrid will not be able to choose players carelessly and in terms of Benzema journey, we can see that Benzema has previously been sold by Real Madrid, which means Benzema is no longer needed because his performance has declined after entering slightly older age now.
Currently, Benzema fate is truly uncertain, even in Saudi Arabia there are rumors that Benzema will be loaned to European club and this means that Benzema is not what he used to be when he was young and now he no longer has strong physique and may even have to prepare himself for retirement.

I don't know why I am seeing Liverpool and Barcelona as future failures
.
Ever since Klopp announced that he will not be with Liverpool for the next season, I have been seeing Liverpool as future failures. I know their situation will be like that of Manchester United after Alex Ferguson left them. They might not realise what will happen to them, but I am sure that if Klopp eventually leaves, it will take more than 4 seasons for Liverpool to come back to the standard they are now. This doesn't mean that there aren't capable coaches to succeed Klopp, but I guarantee you that they are not gonna get immediate results. Just like there was Mourinho after Sir Alex Ferguson but the desired results didn't come.

While I was being pitiful to Liverpool, Xavi made similar announcement for the Catania club. The situation of Barcelona will be worse because amidst financial crisis, no coach would excitedly go to the club and some good players who are there under the persuasion of Xavi will leave. It will be difficult for Barcelona.

Moreover, Real Madrid will never want to bring in old players. For example, last season Sergio Ramos was still free before joining Sevilla, many media spread rumors that Ramos would return to Madrid but in fact he didn't.
Ronaldo, Ramos and Benzema will not return to Madrid as players. It is possible that some of them will return to Madrid for new positions, either as youth team coaches or staff, as Raul, Casillas, Roberto Carlos and Guti have done.
After all, what can be expected for players over 35 years old and competing in Europe? This will only create a bad dressing room situation. It is better for them to play in mediocre leagues with high salaries because it is to support them before their retirement comes.
Real Madrid have been focusing on building for the future rather than relying on the return of seasoned players, even if they were once key figures in the squad. This has been the club policy for a long while. Real Madrid have been prioritizing youth development and may prefer to bring back former players in roles off the pitch, such as coaching or other staff positions, as seen with Raul, Casillas, Roberto Carlos, and Guti.

It could indeed be challenges that older players might face in European competitions, and the potential impact on the team's dynamics. Great players in their career ending should be opting for playing in less competitive leagues with higher salaries. That will be supporting them in their final years before retirement. Real Madrid's focus on maintaining a balanced and competitive squad while integrating youth talent appears to be a key strategy for sustained success.

Saudi Arabian is not going to give up and they want to try hiring Modric at the end of this season. Modric had some offers from the Saudi Lague but he decided to stay in Real Madrid and play for this team while everything is now changed and Modric is in the situation in which he should think about retiring and he should race with other younger players to play in Real Madrid maybe that's why he will choose to play in Saudi League and end his career there.
I would prefer to see him retire on his best. Saudi pro league clubs may be sending a lucrative offer to him but it doesn't guarantee him to play confidently in SPL. He shall also reconsider that about some of players were doing exodus and back to play in the european competition again.
This is enough proving that if modric may be choosing to retire instead of playing in the saudi pro league. The different thing if the offer would be coming from al nassr but that's impossible to happen. So far, there's no contact between him and al nassr's representative.

Im sure that ronaldo has his phone number and he can make a call to the modric and convince him to join in the saudi pro league. Let's wait for the further development from the transfer of him. IF modric chooses to retire and he will retire on his best.
It's caused by he had been achieved anything in the real madrid. He will be leaving as a real madrid legend and that's it the main point.

Let's wait for the final decision to be made by him. His contract will end at the middle of this year and im sure that modrid has been starting to think again about his future. he has been rich and he doesn't really need money at this moment.
He can enjoy his life after he will leave from madrid soon. He needs to give the young players chance to play.

Because if it is also forced, this is not very good and Xavi will continue to be a scapegoat for the deterioration of Barcelona's current performance, even though this is Xavi's responsibility, but by looking at their current performance and conditions in terms of finances and injured players, we actually understand that blaming Xavi entirely is a mistake.

I actually feel that this must be a very difficult situation for Xavi because we know that Xavi and Barcelona's attachment is very close because of Xavi's loyalty but with the conditions that are happening now for Barcelona then indeed Xavi will not be able to take them in a good direction especially with his difficulties in bringing players to make this even worse.
Next season they will have to adapt to a new coach and of course with the loss of the Joao duo who must expire their loan period which makes Barcelona have to rack their brains more in this regard.

Xavi is caught up in this situation and blaming him could be pretty crazy but I think to an extent it’s his fault. He approved the signing of players that got the club in this FFP saga, and now he's suffering the consequences, rumors have it that he could not be the manager of the club next season and I wonder where he'll manage next if he leaves Barcelona. Well with the experience he's got from Barca I'm pretty sure there would be lost of teams requesting for his signature.

Yea this FFP saga has made them not to be able to get any big name who could change up the phase of play in the team. This is very important as the team lacks quality at this point and they really need that young blood who will be able to drive forward and be a motivation. Well with Xavi out, I think this team could suffer a little more except they’re ready to get in a quality coach who’ll be able to get victory and adapt fast.
The player and FFP problems that occurred at Barcelona occurred long before Xavi even arrived there and he only accepted this situation from the previous coach's descendants even though this was a little added to the arrival of Lewandowski at that time but Xavi always tried to balance their cash conditions and it was evident that several players had to be released especially for old players like Busquets, Alba and Dembele who had large salaries last season.
Actually when talking about FFP and Barcelona it has been around since the days of Messi but the problem is that things like this are not really considered important by Barcelona so they try to keep silent with the policies that occur which is precisely this becomes a time bomb for themselves.

Losing Xavi could be another disaster for Barcelona in the end although there are rumors about Tuchel but honestly I'm not sure about his leadership because it could be worse than with Xavi.

The fans who complain that Xavi can't bring Barcelona to a good situation are actually questionable in this case because I think it's a childish thing to do.
It is certain that for the Cullens they are very disappointed with the situation experienced by Barcelona at this time but deciding to end cooperation with Xavi could make Barcelona's condition even worse.

Although the options for coaches at this time are still very much but with the current condition of Barcelona and the great pressure to make Barcelona better next season it will definitely require a coach who is competent enough because it is a very difficult situation.
All fans want their beloved club to always be in a good and favourable situation but in this case I quite agree that if because of this they try to say Xavi is a bad coach then it is like an ungrateful situation that Barcelona fans are doing.

Xavi has fought and contributed quite well and the fact that the La Liga title last season is actually proof that he contributed a lot.
This season he's not doing so well but that's due to a number of reasons such as the limping players and the financial situation that Barcelona can't anticipate well which makes Xavi seem like a bad person at the moment.

Hopefully this is a good decision for Barcelona but honestly I still feel it's a bad decision to let Xavi go.
Indeed, no one wants their favorite club to experience problems but in the end we also have to be introspective about the situation that occurs and for Barcelona at this time they are in a concerning condition but the coach is always forced to have the best performance and as if the decline that Barcelona currently has is only due to the fault of the coach who cannot make a big contribution to a club.

Honestly with this I don't expect much even though the hope is that they try to return to a good direction and Xavi and Barcelona's decision is expected to change performance but with the current conditions whoever the coach is, they can still give up with poor financial conditions like now.

I think it is time for Modric to say goodbye and continue in a more relaxed league like the SPL, we know that the offer they are proposing is very luxurious, it could entice Modric to be willing to move. Everything has been given to Madrid, including leading players easily and maintaining the club transition very well, the age factor is an acceptable reason, why now Ancelotti does not give him more playing time. Enjoying the time before retirement in a league that is not so competitive is the right choice, and of course the salary is also no joke.

I think for another season or two Modric can still be productive, he can become a new icon in the SPL. On the other hand, it is not only Modric who seems to be leaving the club, Kroos is also reported to be leaving for the same reason as Modric. Madrid management is certainly looking far ahead, maintaining regeneration is the best way to continue to dominate various competitions, and the best young talent is now available in Ancelotti hands. It seems that the team's needs for these two veteran players can be handled by younger players, that is a fact that all fans must accept.

Real Betis stepped in for Cedric Bakambu. Bakambu, who could only play in 10 league matches for Galatasaray, was able to score only 1 goal. Galatasaray wanted to send the striker, who couldn't get the desired performance, but Real Betis made an offer to loan him. Bakambu has left his prime behind and is no longer the goal scorer he once was. Therefore, it's normal for teams to approach this transfer cautiously. 3-4 years ago, he was a complete striker and could carry his team, now he can only find a place in the rotation.

I think we're hard on Benzema. He's 7th in goal scoring, which wasn't expected, but his transition has been difficult. I've heard he's uncomfortable and considering moving. Football is a team sport, not just age or talent. His striker role at Real Madrid was made easy by his strong team. The Saudi Professional League is different, and the team's play style may not suit him. I also like the rumors that Manchester United want him on loan. That may be a great chance for him to prove he's still got it, especially with a squad that suits his style

I am really not a fan of giving these mercenaries a second chance. I don't understand why they should deserve the chance to go back to the best place on the planet to play football when they decided to leave it to pile up some more money. As if what they have earned in Europe wasn't enough. But the worst part is the interviews they give when they provide their reasons why they left Europe. None of them left for the money of course. Even Jordan Henderson said he wants to help turn Saudi Arabia into a better place after he has been one of the strongest advocates for plurality, freedom of speech and freedom in general. Now he wants to leave the country again. Mission failed or what? Not worth they money anymore? Same thing with Benzema, it is one thing to go there for the money and be authentic about it. It's another thing when they tell their weird stories and turn themselves into clowns. I hope Benzema won't go back to Europe.

Saudi Pro League hasn't highest level than European competition and I think Luka Modric have one or two years career there, right now he got difficult to get regular position with Real Madrid due over age and there are have many young with midfielder position. Last rumor, Luka Modric rejected with Saudi pro league teams offer and he still interested for playing with Madrid and want end his career in european team, less minutes playing is the reason for him leaving European team and accept with Saudi Arabia club offer.
I think for all club interested for signing Luka Modric need waiting until his contract over June 2024, right now not any negotiation with another contract extend from Real Madrid and likely management will not extend his contract one year later or Luka Modrid won't extend his contract after facing difficulty get regular position.

Even though I don't agree with your take on Liverpool, I don't want to say much about that. I'm more focused on Barcelona.
Xavi leaving Barcelona would only be a bad decision if Barcelona doesn't get the right man for the job. It's not like Xavi was one masterclass of a coach that has put Barcelona on an unstoppable level. They're still struggling. So if they get the right man for the job Barcelona will excel.

I don't get why people are so fixated on the fact that Barcelona is broke so no other manager can manage them. Broke Barcelona has a better squad than Chelsea and Manchester United. A team that has Gundugan, Pedri, Lewandoski, Aruajo, Kounde, Frenkie, Christensen, and other players that are okay.
With the right manager, Barcelona just needs to sign 3-4 players of lacking positions and they're okay.

Then there's also the fact that Barcelona are also always planning for the future. They're recruiting youngsters and they have a very good academy that produces great talent. Just today, Barcelona acquired another youngster.
So IMO, Barcelona will be okay, but they have to make the right decision when choosing the next manager.

If I were Luka Modric, I would really want to consider the Saudi Arabia option. He is 38 years old and cannot receive another contract offer that would earn him hundreds of millions of Euros before he retires. I think he should go to the Saudi Arabian league for a year, earn money and then retire. He now has fewer chances to play in Real Madrid. However, he seems to be committed to Real Madrid.

Currently, Modric is getting fewer playing minutes than Kroos, but I think Ancelotti has other reasons for that. Modric is the oldest player at the club and perhaps currently his performance is not so good if he is used from the first minutes of the match. Because Ancelotti often included him in the second half as a substitute. If Modric is aware of course he will accept that decision, especially since Ancelotti has to give a lot of playing minutes to his young players. Going to the Saudi league will only make his passion decrease and it would be better for him to retire at Real Madrid.

This has really nothing to do with his quality as a player per se, but age isn't just staying away from him. Ancelotti let's his team play a pretty dynamic tactic and it is a lot about speed and also counter attacks. When Kroos and Modric were on their top physical level, it was still affordable to have two players that can control the speed of the game and are rather known for keeping the game under control. I think that changed a bit and Ancelotti now still wants one player like Kroos or Modric, but he likes to have more pace on the pitch with the younger midfielders. It's quite normal really and whether Modric ends up in Saudi Arabia, good question. It would be odd somehow.

Yes, I also agree that Osimhen is not suitable for Real Madrid currently. Osimhen would be more suitable if he went to PSG or other Premier League teams. Real Madrid's top priority is still No. 1 striker Mbappe. In all aspects, no one will be able to surpass Mbappe's talent. I think that if Real Madrid does not complete this deal successfully, the next choice could be Haaland. Osimhen wasn't really on their radar. If they choose him, they will not leave that position vacant in the last transfer window. Actually, they are still waiting for Mbappe.
I don't understand why you claimed Osimhen won't be suitable for Real Madrid. Osimhen is a great striker, he has a good ability in scoring goals and he is fast in dribbling. I imagine Real Madrid will have 3 fast players in their attacking line if they sign Osimhen. It will be very effective to use a counter-attack tactic.

Real Madrid may prioritize Mbappe but how if Mbappe chooses another team? Real Madrid must consider to sign Osimhen as well. Haaland will be impossible for Real Madrid, he still has a long contract with Man City.

I like the idea of Hansi Flick running Barcelona, but Im not sure if I want him to. After working at Bayern Munich, he led Germany to the World Cup win. But Barça's money problems might mean they cant help Flick's trade market goals.
Hansi Flick may have a good record with German national team and Bayern Munich. But I doubt he will be suitable for Barcelona. Barcelona has complicated problems, that's why Xavi is difficult to improve the performance of the club. It is not easy for Hansi Flick to manage Barcelona because he doesn't know the nature of Barcelona game play. Hansi Flick even isn't familiar with the atmosphere of La Liga competition. So, I'm not sure with this man, why don't try to negotiate with Pep Guardiola?  Grin

Hopefully this is a good decision for Barcelona but honestly I still feel it's a bad decision to let Xavi go.

They are planning on bringing back Luis Enrique so yeah it could be a good decision for them. Xavi is a good coach but a club like Barcelona doesnt really allow him to take his sweet time as they need an instant results. Im not sure if its going to Luis Enrique but rumours are spreading around that its going to him so that means PSG will need to find another one to replace him
Currently, the news about Xavi's replacement is actually confusing because we know that there are several names that have been linked back to Barcelona after Xavi agreed to step down from the coaching chair next season because apart from Enrique in the end we also saw the name Tuchel as one of the strongest candidates to replace Xavi afterwards.

But indeed this is only speculation that is not yet clear where it will go so it is difficult for us to validate it other than by waiting for what Barcelona will do next season but honestly this will change the shape of Barcelona and it could be an increasingly complicated situation for Barcelona next season because the transition with all the limitations they have can be a difficult situation.

I believe same man, I have always protested how he should be given more time because he got to win the La Liga League Competition tittle last season. Ain't that enough backing for Xavi Hernandez already if he's already having a tiring and suffocating season?
Since he doesn't wants to cause the club anymore disturbance and harm, he has decided to leave completely and it has been a wise call.

Hansi Flick the former Bayern Munich Manager who won them the treble that same season has been finally named to be his replacement. What we believe at this point I don't know. But May and August will know.
He was under too much pressure to be perfect in training under conditions that were actually difficult because the resources Barcelona had were really poor.
By now, we know that the conditions for Barcelona will complicate the transition to a new coach but the decision has already been made. Xavi loves the club too much and he doesn't want to see Barcelona fall apart under him so it's commendable what he's decided to do.
As for the names of the current coaches, I actually still feel it's the same where we just have to wait to see what Barcelona will do because there are too many names being linked in the speculation of Xavi's replacement next season.

I think the problem in modric deal is the willingness of the footballer; modric is not onterested in a move away from Europe; and that alone is why the deal looks very unlikely

Real Madrid already have Luka modric replacement; and that’s not in doubt.
I think modric will move to Croatian

This is not a new thing because surely by looking at Modric's current age he will definitely be one of the players who will be glimpsed and targeted by SPL with another tempting offer so that Modric can be in SPL next season.
Currently, Modric's contract is also only short-term for him in Madrid because of his age, even if we see now Modric is actually the only player who is more than 36 years old and is still active in Madrid.

This is a fifty-fifty situation because on the one hand I still expect Modric to be at Madrid but with the current age conditions and with Mardrid which is sometimes unpredictable he could be let go later just like the 3 players Mariano, Hazard and Benzema last season.
