I'm more confident that Newcastle will keep Alexander Isak in the next few seasons because I'm sure Arsenal or Spurs won't want to spend 130m just for 1 player and Arsenal usually prefer to look for players who are younger and have a price below 100 million.
Isak contract period with Newcastle is still very long and Newcastle condition is currently in an inconsistent state which requires support from players like Alexander Isak.
so it is very likely that they will be retained and the reason why Newcastle said they would let the player go was if another team was able to spend a large amount of money, in fact that is just one way of retaining the player because surely Spurs and Arsenal will also think longer about spending 130m.

this case is the same as the offer made by Napoli last season when Osimhen was offered at a price of 100 million and it was an effort to retain the player.

Liverpool join Premier League rivals in £47million transfer battle to sign 'new Gabriel Jesus'
Liverpool are among the clubs interested in signing Palmeiras wonderkid Luis Guilherme.

Code:

Source- https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfer-news-luis-guilherme-32490589

this 18 year old kid is creating a lot of noise. I hope people understand that he is being pursued by big names like Liverpool, Arsenal,  Bayern Munich  and Chelsea.  being such interesting to search Big gloves at such a young age is absolutely incredible. Now I Wonder If all the clubs should actually spend so much money trying to get him. because even though the Marketplace for players has become saturated and a big inflation is also going on right now,  I still think this much money is a lot for a young kid.  or maybe I am just a little too old.  maybe I just cannot think about such a price for such a player  when I saw Cristiano Ronaldo going to Real Madrid for 94 million and that was a record transfer at that time.  of course it has been a long time since then. At the same time I guess this player can also be a very big asset for any club. so I guess they can spend this much money for him.

If he is called as the "new Gabriel Jesus" then I don't know how bright his future would be.  Tongue  Joking aside it is really difficult to say something about this player considering there aren't any proper statistics to take into consideration. He is really young of course and if he has a big talent he would surely be signed by a big European team sooner or later.

He is quite a versatile player as far as I can see. He can play on both wings and as an attacking midfielder at the same time. Big teams would love to have such players with talent.  Smiley  The reason why I said that about Gabriel Jesus is his not being able to develop good enough. Especially the recent injuries have been an obstacle.

130 million euros is too high for him even though he performed well at Newcastle but for a club that buys a player at too high a price there is a risk of incurring losses because there is no guarantee that he will perform as well or adapt well in his first season.
With the price set by Newcastle, it is actually a rejection of any club that wants this player.
Alexander Isak scored 15 goals for Newcastle with 1 assist and at his young age his future is quite bright, especially if he can get a better club, but still 130 million euros is too high for him, unless the team that wants him is Chelsea who are always willing to pay high for the players he is targeting, and I am sure that with the price set by Newcastle, Tottenham are out of the hunt.

It is true that when a club sets such a high price for a player, it actually says that this player is not for sale, but if a buyer is found for such a high price and they will be able to make an appropriate replacement, for this money. On the other hand, I constantly see how prices for players are constantly rising, if earlier it was a wonder to hear the amount of 100 million, now it has become the norm for almost any top club.

Even if it's like hype, I think it's quite reasonable if he is valued like that, although I agree that it's too big for Isak.
Currently Isak has always been an important part and not only at Newcastle but indeed at his previous club he was also like that so Newcastle wants profit after previously they bought this player more than 70 million so surely when this player is in demand then the value will be given greater because Newcastle is also a businessman so I am not too strange if you see a clause of this size for Isak.

Indeed in terms of current performance he seems mediocre and it seems to be an unavoidable situation when Isak always has some problems in his legs but when talking about performance on the field, posture and his current age then I think it's a little natural for Newcastle to give a large clause even though this seems imposing because the value is not too fitting for an Isak because it looks higher.

Isak is a pretty good striker and with Newcastle he can play better than when he was at Real Sociedad previously, we admit Isak is one of the talented Swedish players but for the price pegged by Newcastle of course it doesn't make sense at the moment, I think Tottenham, Arsenal and even Chelsea will immediately back down hearing the asking price by Newcastle for a player who has scored 15 goals.

I think the possible withdrawal of Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea is not because they can't afford 130 million euros, but I think it's too risky to buy a young player at such a high price and even when he has only been two seasons in the Premier League, even when we look at his current market value which does not exceed 75 million euros so indeed the price pegged by Newcastle is really beyond logic at the moment,  With 130 million euros of course Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea will be able to get 2 other players who may be better than Isaak at the moment, besides that reportedly Arsenal and Chelsea are fighting for one more Swedish talent namely Viktor Gyokeres who is still better than Isak, I think even the price pegged by Sporting is not higher than Newcastle for their talented young attacker.

I'd be very surprised if Chelsea went for him at that price, considering how terrible their recent expensive signings were. Whether they can do some tricks to reduce the yearly payment getting another player as expensive as Enzo or Lavia is not a good thing for them when they can't even perform to an acceptable standard. Anyone in charge of these signings needs to be fired quickly unless they want to remain mid-table teams for the next 3-5 seasons. It is also bad for the market if every player is priced so ridiculously expensive like that, only the top 4 clubs or so will significantly strengthen their squads if that is the case imo.

Leny Yoro has been linked with Real Madrid for quite some time but it looks like the competition to get the Lille central defender will not be easy because several elite English clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are also in the hunt to secure his contract signature. This certainly doesn't make it easy for Real Madrid to get him this summer and Leny Yoro also said he wants a new challenge.

Real Madrid must be able to convince him to join and considering that Real Madrid currently has not many center back options, Leny Yoro could be the right solution for that. Apart from that, it is possible that Leny Yoro will also be included in the next generation of players for Los Blancos considering that Rudiger and Alaba are also getting older with age. Leny Yoro could be a good duet option with Eder Militao in defense.

Where will Leny Yoro be next season? Is it to Real Madrid or to one of the EPL teams above?

think Tottenham, Arsenal and even Chelsea will immediately back down hearing the asking price by Newcastle for a player who has scored 15 goals.
Chelsea should have learned lessons that big players don't lead to quality football. However, this experience would not stop them from going for top players because the team still needs quality players to excel in several campaigns. With the flop of Christopher Nkunku, Alexander Isak might be a good replacement because he has become one of the most clinical strikers in the English premier league. The 24-year-old Swedish striker has scored 29 goals and given 4 assists in 60 games, I don't think he is worth £100k. He should be within the rank of £70-75m and might increase if his performance improves by next season.

Arsenal lost the opportunity to sign the young striker for £37m, maybe they don't want to miss this opportunity because the striker might improve and get more expensive in the future. Newcastle will be very willing to sell the Swedish international because it will help them to balance their books and could also secure some cheap quality players.

Currently, many clubs are controlled by rich companies and are ready to spend a lot of money to buy players. In my opinion, this is an unhealthy market shown by the club. Just look at what's happening to Barcelona right now. Previously they could buy players at high prices, but in the end when they lost star players who could attract many investors and sponsors, the club suffered financially. Expensive player salaries do not come with sales of players. This harm the club's finances because of bad money management.

130 million euros is too high for him even though he performed well at Newcastle but for a club that buys a player at too high a price there is a risk of incurring losses because there is no guarantee that he will perform as well or adapt well in his first season.

Tottenham are not an ambitious club to spend large amounts of money, and I'm not sure they would pay that price. Unless you really insist on getting his signature, there are still options for players whose value is affordable and can have the same effect. It all comes back to the context of Spurs pursuit and demand. For Isak, whose price tag of 130 million is too much, he still doesn't have much experience at his age. Newcastle only took advantage of the situation when Isak performance was improving, but we'll see if Newcastle succeeds in improving the situation in the Premier League? I think it actually shows a decline compared to last season. And don't forget Joe Lewis is not the type of person who likes to waste money on one player.

Yes, I think the price is too high. Maybe if Newcastle wants to let him go, negotiations might result in a fairly large price reduction from Newcastle's asking price.
It's not just Tottenham who are rumored to be interested in Isak. Arsenal are reportedly also interested in getting the player's signature.

Most times, club only set high release clause or fee on players if they don’t actually wants to leave the players at that moment of their contract, mostly, these players are either very important to the squad and there is a demand from other teams, they set huge money so that any team that can pay that high will just take the player; on the other hand, if they buy the player with huge amount of money, and the player start having issues with the management, and if they sell him at that moment, they will sell him at lost, they tends to set release clause on the player so that any team that will sign the player will pay the team that money so as not be like they lost money on the player.

Amazing!!!! that's the only word that i can give it to the simeone inzaghi.

His achievements have been helping intermilan to perform better by winning so many trophies. I'd like to add that if simeone was also helping intermilan financiall by giving the club a very big income. As reported by football italy

Quote
Simone Inzaghi has taken Inter to a new level and his work in the dugout has helped bring in over €400m in revenue over the last three years.

The 47-year-old Italian coach has transformed the Nerazzurri into one of the strongest teams in Europe since his arrival back in 2021, taking them to the Champions League final last term and putting them on track to win their historic 20th Scudetto this campaign.
https://football-italia.net/inzaghi-brings-over-revenue-inter/
Inzaghi adds intermilan to the positive trend. The club is now frequently winning trophies, and it is gradually resolving financial issues caused by Intermilan's large income since Diego Simeone joined the club has been helping the club a lot in adding more budgets for the various things. No doubt, interimlan intends to extend his contract even further.
The deal will be made by Simeone and Intermilan in the coming months but i don't know when since the article was not mentioning about the deadline for the deal between simeone inzaghi  and management. It most likely before the end of the summer transfer season. If Intermilan continues to perform well, it may be able to resolve its financial issues encountered by interimlan since it was having bad management. Glad to see that the management was able finding someone who was helping the club a lot to get money.

I think that intermilan's debt can be fully paid off probably at the end of this decade if simeone inzaghi is gonna be a long term coach for intermilan.

Correct, Isak is nothing without Guimaraes and Trippier, most of his goals are just tap-in. His market value is 74 Million Euros, which I think overvalued, his market value should be around 40-50 Million Euros. Asking 130 Million Euros is way too much, it's better to spend that money to sign Leao, Osimhen, Musiala etc.

Just because Isak has a good statistic, it doesn't mean he's a top player.

Alexander Isak the player of Newcastle had an amazing performance in all the games we saw from this team so far and because of the good performance he had in Newcastle, it seems there are some teams that want to have this player for the next season.
Tottenham and Arsenal are two teams that sent offers for Alexander Isak. However, Newcastle said they are not going to let Alexander Isak leave unless they pay 130 million euros for this player which is a huge amount of money for any team but I don't think if they can even make the team to spend this money for a player like Alexander Isak.

Isak will not leave from the club. The recent update from romano about him breaks all of rumors. Isaak has confirmed that he is feeling very happy to play in Newcastle. He will not go to another club. He was in newcaslte for a big project by PIF. I think that it's all about rumors.

I don't really believe that price was true. It's caused by it can still be negotiated but since isaak has confirmed himself to stay and no reason to talk about him even further.

I understand your all logic about this but here also have to understand one thing more as maybe Newcastle United don't want to sell their player so just because of this they are having price tag like this on Isak which is doing impressive performance for them as most chances we will have some improvement in coming season as well because things are going to take good changes in coming season for them after having terrible season due to injuries and suspension of players.

Chelsea already have the good number of quality players, so I have feeling they don't need to invest in coming season they just need to have some depth into their team which is more important for them instead of having any new player now we will have too much news about few players in coming days as we are heading for the end of this season.

At the moment Madrid's decision to release Modric is certainly a difficult decision to accept after Modric's service for almost 12 years in Madrid, but it is quite natural that if we look at his age which is now 38 years old, I think Madrid's ambition to regenerate his squad next season is the reason they no longer give Modric a contract, while Kroos maybe Madrid can still count on him one more season despite his age of only 34 years now,  Although Modric is still able to play despite his age, but I think to play in European competitions will certainly be more difficult for him, especially now Modric is prone to injuries so that when facing fierce competition next season, of course Madrid needs players who are 100% ready.

Playing in the Arab League might be an option for Modric to continue his football career, currently the Arab League is one of the potential destinations for former European football stars to continue their careers and of course by getting a very large salary and maybe even double the salary they received from the previous club,   At this time I think Al Hillal offer of Modric for join them next season is an offer worth accepting, let alone they dare to pay Modric salary equivalent to Ronaldo's salary.
Look at their midfield, they have camavinga, tchouameni, jude, valverde and maybe some other players that I am missing at midfield and all of them are young players. This doesn't mean that Modric is a bad player, he is still a great player but Real do not really "need" him. That means Modric needs to start looking for somewhere he can go to this summer, otherwise things will not be great for them.

I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case would be going to Saudi league if he can get a lot of money. He is old, he won't make a big impact on any other team, and he could make more money there in 2 seasons than he did all of his life. So, it looks like Saudi league would be the best place to go for Modric.

And keep in mind that his statistic isn't outrageously good. He has scored 15 goals and out of those 15, 4 goals were scored by penalties. I would never put that guy at any three figure value, never.

As you said, top players like Leao or Musiala are worth that money, but not Isak. I am not sure about Osimhen at the moment as he isn't quite able to repeat what he has done last season. But I think these price tags suggest that a player should be able to maintain top form over the course of several subsequent seasons. It isn't enough to score a high number of goals one season and then play subpar the next season. Osimhen is at 11 goals for the season so far. That's not enough for a world class center forward. Leao is a different type of player. He is not mainly responsible for scoring goals. His main task is to assist and confuse the opponents's defense with his speed and technique.

Musiala is an amazing player with his impressive body weight balance. I never understand how he is doing many of his movements. It looks as if he was supposed to crash on the floor, but yet again stays up and makes some unexpected move.
