Right now I think Manchester United will not be signing more than one center back again, their priority was to have two new center back and then offload another one, such that they will be a perfect replacement for who ever leaves and the departed Varane, their main target was Jarrad Branthwaite and Leny Yoro, when Yoro was proving more to hard to sign because of Madrid been in the picture they went for De Ligt. I won't yet underestimate Madrid's defence, in the absence of the both players you mentioned, might still have no effect on the teams performance because I see quite a well replacement and not just any but those who can do even better.
