I have seen it. The new contract seems to improve Palmer's old one. His performances far outpaced his wage. So, the club decided to adjust his wage on the new contract extension. Also, Palmer is gonna receive his new weekly salary on his new contract, which is around £130k.

They will also do this if another player performs incredibly. It's not about the length of their contract. It's about what new agreement exists in the extension between them and the player.

Is like the Chelsea board are forcing each players to extend their contract to enable them win the league I mean on that picture, like you said they are topping so they should at least win that since they can't win the EPL title 😂. Although is not funny and I still wonder why players who knows the club is not that strong enough to compete against the big 6 in the EPL or win the league title and yet they sign a contract for that long, at least 3-4 years is enough but 7yrs🤔? I think this problem cannot be solved with just Kai Havertz. A few reserve players other than Kai Havertz are necessary. Although Arsenal has the power to produce important names from the youth academy, perhaps Arteta can try and promote a few players from there to the first team. Arsenal is also a team that has made a name for itself with quality players in its youth academy. I think they should use this advantage well instead of making a new transfer.

The logic is simple, no matter how much they pay for these players, if they sign a long contract, they do not have to put it on the paper all together. Meaning, if they pay 100 million for a player, but sign him for 10 years, that means 10 million a year on their paper, not 100 all together. Which opens up a huge door for them and they are making a lot better results as well, this is why I think it's clear that we are going to end up seeing them do very well.

It needs to be considered very important for them, it is going to be really really tough. I am not sure if it can be done any other way, I do not know if they can keep this up, every year they need to sell a few players to cover all this debt, and that's how they sell a few and then get many.

They won't accept any offer unless his release clause is bought out. And that clause is 1 billion euros worth.    I assume there wouldn't even be a Saudi team to go that crazy.

Is funny how they're joking with this deal, I don't even see Madrid to be that stupid to let go off this player I mean their play maker. Vinicius Jr is not thinking of this deal, even if is a tempting offer he's not the kind to accept such offer because going to the Saudi is like a place where those players who wants to retire finds themselves and this guy is still young and has so much to offer to the world of football, it would be a shame to see him go to the Saudi, that's if choose to accept. Transfer deadline is a few days away, and I doubt Arsenal would bring in another forward. Kai Havertz better be ready to own the 9 for the entire season.

Kai Havertz was always going to start ahead of him anyways but Kai can't do it all alone. Arsenal definitely need everyone available which is why almost everyone is worried about this guy's injury. He has now proven beyond reasonable doubt that he can't be relied upon.

Even in his absence, i think they are still  stronger than last season given Merino and Partey being fit for the start of the season. But I won't go as far as to say "significantly" unless they get an attacker to replace the injured Gabriel Jesus.

Yes I think so too, how could Sancho not be in his starter at this time and I think this problem is not over between the two of them, Ten Hag is too picky in choosing his favorite players and now the winger who played well in Dortmund last season could be displaced in his camp, of course this is not fair to Sancho if he wants to develop himself but the coach does not give him space, and currently PSG and Chelsea are quite open to bringing in the player, PSG is very interested in Sancho I think this could be a good place to develop him compared to Chelsea because the current Chelsea team already has many names in its squad so it is difficult for him to become a starter at Chelsea but at PSG with their strong interest under Enrique this will be a good improvement for him I think he should leave his dream at Man United to leave because he is still very good so it would be a shame if this does not get a bright spot in Ten Hag's squad.
